Have you noticed some unusual situations with the "Powerpuff Girls" programming motifs lately? Well, there are some interesting significances to note:
Kids' WB! has been airing what I call 'Remixes' of "Powerpuff Girls" shows. This means that Kids' WB! airs one segment of one "Powerpuff" show, and combines it with another ep from a separate "Powerpuff" show. The reasoning is probably to fit the time frame of the Kids' WB! Weekday schedule, since the Kids' WB! lineup ends at exactly 5:00 PM, and the net has to fit the commercial time with the eps so the schedule ends at the right moment.
Cartoon Network's 'Toonami' "Powerpuff" intro before the regular opening features clips from eps that CN hasn't premiered yet! Also, "Powerpuff Girls" is one of probably three series in the 'Toonami' package that airs the original opening sequences. The popular "Zoids" series is one of the others, but I'm not certain about "Hamtaro".
Of course, the situation concerning the not-yet-premiered on CN clips could change with tonight's "Powerpuff" debut airing, around 8:00 PM, and again at 10:00 PM. Maybe it will air at Midnight as well, but I don't think so.
