I was really upset about the results of the new CartoonCartoon voting. For those of you who don't remember, here are the cartoons that aired (a question mark means I'm unsure on the title):
1. Robot Jones: A robot goes to middle school to study human behavior
2.My Freaky Family(?): A girl named Nadine must endure life with the wierdest and most embarassing family on earth
3.Horse&Cowboy(?): A cowboy picks up his horse and moves from Texas to the Big Apple
4.Capt. Rightious(?): An old retired superhero is shocked to see how political correctness has changed what it means to be a superhero
5.Swaroop: The life of an Indian (not native american) boy growing up in the suburbs with his family (this one was my favorite :))
6.Kitty Bobo: A guy named Kitty Bobo living in a big city (I think it was New York). This one is hard to describe but it was VERY good.
7.Kids Next Door: A group of kids form a secret club to oppose adults (my least favorite)
It kills me that "Kids Next Door" won the vote! When the choices were aired, I remember thinking "I want Swaroop to win, but I'll be happy with anything as long as it's NOT Kids Next Door". I didn't like it because it wasn't funny and the "kids vs. adults" thing has been done to death! Also, I didn't like any of the characters. At least all the other pilots had likeable characters!
I recently heard that "Robot Jones" was going to be a series (despite losing the Big Pick). I was very happy to hear that. It gives me a little hope for the other pilots that lost to this unfunny piece of junk.
Oh, BTW, if I forgot to list one of the choices please tell me. And, if you also liked Swaroop, please let me know that I'm not alone. Thank you  :D
