[indent]I did not enjoy it all that much, but there were a few things I liked, mostly the kid with the glasses and the instructor (I'm horrible with names). The music was alright also.

That show still would've been complete ass if they'd explained it. I want to know why the one girl has cat ears.

Because Pilot Candidate tries it's damndest to include every anime cliche humanly possible.

I would have liked it if I hadn't been so frustrated by it. It either needed more explanation, or they needed to do super obvious anime cliches and turn it into a comedy! (I still think that could have been kinda fun! :) )

It sucked, their should be no questions about that.
I hated the show before it ended and even more after it ended. "Let's sing!" Ugh as if they're high pitched voices weren't bad enough normally.
It's only good use is to laugh at how bad the acting and lines were.

It's like one of those dreams that you have before you wake up only to let it fade away days later to the point that it has never existed.

Well I actually thought the idea was interesting. Not the whole defending the last planet existing against aliens thing (that's been done a million times before), but being about actually seeing the training stage of a mecca pilot. Normally an anime show picks up with the pilots starting their careers, but not a lot show us the selection and training process, and doing so is actually a pretty good idea. Giant Robot School, y'know, is at least relatively interesting and new. Pilot Candidate, however, completely botched this at least somewhat inventive idea though.

Actually, Gunbuster already did the "Mecha School" thing in its first episode. Granted, the show wasn't about that, a good chunk of the OVA was devoted to Noriko and her training to be the pilot of the Gunbuster.

If you know anything about the new show called “Pilot Candidate” AKA in Japan “Candidate Goddess” is that It’s brand spanking new, not even a year old. The director of Candidate Goddess Mr. Hongou Mitsuru and the Magna creator Sugisaku Yukiru. Intend to make a saga out of the newly formed series. So expect good things if you are a mech fan like me!

I didn't like it at all. The only reason I watched it was I was too lazy to change the channel before Gundam 0083 came on.

I liked i alot but here's the thing, there was no plot! they hardly ever fought and there wasnt too much action but it made ya think. And that's something everyone can enjoy!! :D For those with wings, fly to your dreams

for a short series, they really meandered on very weakly, not showing any signs of plot development
maybe japan sent this over by mistake and instead wanted to bury pilot candidate in a landfill
