Best Kanno Soundtrack

It occurred to me that nobody ever made a poll about this and it's something I've always wanted people's opinions on. So here we go.

I think one of the reasons why you don't see a poll like this so often is because its so hard to choose a favorite since everything she does is so good :p :D As far as anime soundtracks go, she's God.

Although they're extremely tough, I'd rank them like so
1. Escaflowne(series)
2. Cowboy Bebop(series)
3. Escaflowne(movie)
4. Macross Plus
5. Cowboy Bebop(movie)

Haven't heard Turn A Gundam, Brain Powered or Arjuna yet :(

If I had to pick a favorite disc, I'd have to say the 3rd Bebop one (Blue) since it contains so much virtually perfect stuff (Blue, Call Me Call Me, Flying Teapot, Adieu, Ave Maria, Words That We Couldn't Say, Road to the West, etc...) as good as the other discs are, the good stuff tends to be spread out where in Bebop the best of the best is almost exclusively on one disc :eek:

Goooood point. EDIT: Wait a sec. I meant to delete that and put Brain Powerd (sic). If I could get a mod to replace Please Save My Earth with Brain Powerd I'd appreciate it.

Turn A is good, actually, although it's not as remarkable as CB. Probably almost on the level with Escaflowne. Alfa and Omega is a good song.

My personal favorite of her work is the Earth Girl Arjuna (aka Earth Maiden Arjuna) soundtrack. It's beyond description at points. It fits the show perfectly, which itself is beyond description at points (definetly a show I'm preordering as soon I can preorder it).

I had to go with Cowboy Bebop because, sadly, I hadn't heard any of the other ones. I'll be keeping an eye out for them now that I know they're there!

Of the Cowboy Bebop stuff, my favorite is "No Disc". 'Cats on Mars' and 'Want It All Back'; who couldn't like it?!

Well I think Escaflowne's intro wich I have the DVD is not too bad and sounds very nice.

um i have just started to collect Brain Powered and i must say the only thing saving it right now is the soundtrack (very reminiscent of Escaflowne).

my list of her best goes a little something like this :

1) Macross Plus
2) Escaflowne
3) Cowboy Bebop
4) Turn A Gundam
5) Brain Powered
