I wrote something and sent it to a good friend, who is 18. He left it on a chair...and his mother read it.

Being a DEVOUTLY religious woman, she freaked. The story had some language, sexual stuff, and just basically REAL WORLD experiences and language, the kind of thing people shrug off. It was nothing bad or horrible, open any novel and you'll see a thousand times worse, but to this woman, it's...well, I don't know.

Now this woman has decided that I am an evil presence in her children's lives or something, and I'm sure she'll contact my parents or me soon. How do I deal with this without shattering her 1950's view of the world?

Heh, I'll give you a honest suggestion...

Tell your parents what happened... So it isn't surprise what happened with you and your friend's mother... Telling the truth always solves problems with me and my parent... Try either you or your parents try to call your friend's mother... Either (you or your parents) try to explain the situtation to her...

I hope this helps... :(

It's not that my parents would care...it's that...well, it's hard to explain.

I'm 19. I can handle this on my own. But I don't want my parents finding out what I wrote about. Because it's something that happened to me that they don't know about. And I would prefer they didn't find out.

I'd rather they thought their son was a hopeless, anti-social loser than for them to know what really happened.

If you are going to be evil then tie up the phone.Get on the Internet, call someone, take the phone off the hook.

It's not something evil. And it's unrealistic to HIDE from a confrontation.

My concern is not my parents, really. It's this woman.

Just tie up the phone! She won't be able to call then.If she eventually comes over to tell your parents act like it never happened.

Own up to it, and don't do it again!
