Spiderman Avatar Contest Results

Wow, I don't think I have ever seen a more fractured contest result than the one for the contest just passed. Everyone got votes. In fact, almost everyone got at least 3 or 4 votes total. Very few contestants managed to eke out a lead, and even those guys wound up in a couple of ties!

I think it is interesting, though, that even though Spiderman avatars outnumbered the Star Wars avatars, SW avatars dominated the final results for "best avatar."

First place, for instance, is shared by Birdboy and BleuUnicorn's animated SW avatars:

Third place was also a tie, between SJJ and Clark Kent. Interestingly, these guys went for a strange "fusion" theme. SJJ married Star Wars and the Muppets:

Wow, gee, thanks everyone! I'm sure BB's with me on this one, when I say I completely did not expect this. Interestingly enough, I get to tie for first place with the avatar I voted for as #1. If that's not strange, then I need to look up the definition again. ;) Congrats to the other winners. Everyone had great avatars, it was very hard to choose!

When there is a tie for first, there is no second. That's how it's done in the Olympics and just about everywhere.
