I would have to say Aku, i mean he Destroyed Jack's home and sent jack to the future never knowing when he'll get home. Hes evil of all evil.

Normally, I'd say Aku, but then I saw "Human Habitrail". I don't think Aku ever pushed Jack to the point the samurai was ready to commit suicide. Doc Gerbil's music had Courage ready to leap into the river.

Mojo Jojo! True he never succeeds, but he's a rather entertaining villian nonetheless.

Mojo Jojo is my *favorite* villain, but if the criteria for this title is being the Most Evil, I'll have to give the nod to Aku (what'dya think his name means, anyway?)

"Aku" is a shortnened form of "Akuma" which is the Japanese name for the Devil. Since Jack is Japanese, it makes sense.

aku since he enslaved the world.

The most evil of all villain of all is Dt. Zoltaz from Courage. I mean, he was sad and wanted others to feel his sadness. A sad story, but still a little evil.
AKU!!! He's got the eeevvvillll laughter! BWAHAHAH!!! :D

Favorite villain goes to the Amoeba Boys. Ah, Amoeba Boys, you're so dumb.
The worst villain? Him was the first to come to my mind, but Aku is worthy of the title too. Both of them claim to be masters of evil and are skilled at manipulating others.

What about Rolf from Ed, Edd, n Eddy? He seemed to have a few tricks up his sleeve and he does have a bad temper. LOL, I'm kidding.
What about "Him" from the Powerpuff Girls? He was the devil too, and in many ways his tutu and feather collar are more scary than Aku.

Hmm.. It's safe to say Him is more scary than Aku, but Aku is a lot nastier! He also has a far more successful track-record than any other CCF villain. And most villains in general, for that matter.

The most evil is Aku. My favorites are the enemies on PPG (MoJo, Him etc.)

Aku
a. he destroyed jack's home, enslaved his people, and broke up his happy family
b. he transported him into a hostile future
c. he suckered jack into helping him find the jewel of the oasis, only to destroy it before jack's eyes...then revealing himslef to the samurai
d. he entrapped that poor viking lord in an unbreakable crystal, and destroyed his kingdom
e. he's sent forth countless bountyhunters and beetle drones
f. he pitted jack against his own darkside, in the form of Mad Jack
g. whenever jack seems to be close to his goal, Aku shows up and crushes his spirit
h. he unleashed the Marauders do destroy village upon village to draw out Jack
Aku has put Jack through so much pain and grief. And in episode XX, Jacks frustrations boil over as he lets out that soul shattering scream, thrusts his sword into the ground. Then he unearths his blade and tosses it aside out of frustration, the mutters: It IS IMPOSSIBLE. Truly, one of the most emotional and powerful moments in this ground-breaking series.
I'm only sad that Samurai Jack is a finite program, eventually jack will destroy Aku and go home. Can SJ last more than 2 seasons???

Samurai Jack is an amazing series. But I personally hope that the show doesn't last too long... I think it could go for another season, maybe even two more. But don't drag it out too long. Jack has to win one of these days.
Besides, all those things you mentioned that Aku is responsible for only makes me want to see him get what's coming to him! And to finally see Jack happy...!
Apologies to any and all Aku fans out there.

Doc. Gerbil
1. I love hamsters, but I have a large dislike for gerbils.
2. Did you see tat cool motorboat chase scene?
3. It's Doc. Gerbil's world, It's Doc. Gerbil's world, It's Doc. Gerbil's world, It's Doc. Gerbil's world, It's Doc. Gerbil's world, It's Doc. Gerbil's world, It's Doc. Gerbil's world, It's Doc. Gerbil's world, It's Doc. Gerbil's world, It's Doc. Gerbil's world, It's Doc. Gerbil's world, It's Doc. Gerbil's world, It's Doc. Gerbil's world, It's Doc. Gerbil's world, It's Doc. Gerbil's world, It's Doc. Gerbil's world!!!! I kinda think you'd get the idea after a while.
4. He has a SECRET lair. All good bad guys had hidden lairs.
5. He's kind at first, but then when he tricks muriel and Eustase, into the vacume you go.
I think I've made my point past clear.

I'd say Him and Aku are the meanest

I think GH has a good point. Aku is highly successful by cartoon villain standards.
After all, most villains only talk about ruling the world. Aku has actually gone ahead and done it! And he's trying to spread his evil throughout the stars.
That's one of the things I find interesting about Samurai Jack. They've inverted the normal formula. In most other series, each day starts out peacefully, and then some villain threatens world order and has to be dealt with. But in SJ's world, every show is an uphill battle for Jack, and every show ends with Jack either having a miserable failure, or at best a small victory.
Of course that also makes it a bit frustrating for the fan. We know Jack's basic dilemma can't be solved within the framework of the series. (Kind of like The Fugitive.)
No doubt the series-ending episode will be great, though.

hero stories changed in the 21st century.
Back in the old days, the hero was the traveler. The hero had a quest. Beowulf, Jason, Hercules, Homer, Sinbad, etc...
But today's heroes stay home and defend evil. The villains are the ones w/ the goals, the ambitions. The heroes of today defend. The heroes of yesterday were on the offense.
The trend broke probably because of the terrors of the World Wars. The writers felt it'd be best to keep our heroes home, i.e Superman-Metropolis & Batman-Gotham City & Dick Tracy (don't know his city, sorry)
Samurai Jack follows that old pattern.
I'm not saying either formula is best. Both work well. Samurai Jack is unique because his path follows those of classic mythology.

Aku
I'm going to have to go with the majority on this one...
Aku is definitely the best CCF baddie. (Of course, I'm just a little biased...)
Just read over all the other posts telling why he deserves the title... all the reasons why have pretty much been covered.

> Beowulf, Jason, Hercules, Homer, Sinbad, etc... <
I suspect you mean "Beowulf, Jason, Hercules, Ulysses, Sinbad, etc..."
The original Homer (not to be confused with Mr. Simpson) presumably *was* a stay-at-home guy. It would've been rather hard to write 'The Iliad' and 'The Odyssey' on the road.
