What makes EE&E great?

The first time I saw EE&E, I was not impressed with it. The animation seemed sloppy and the cartoonish exaggeration seemed a bit too over the top. But as I watched the show more, I found the characters to be very interesting. There is something charming and nostalgic about the show. EE&E is not my favorite cartoon, but I like it, and I know there are a lot of fans here. I'm curious what other people like about the show.

You wanna know why I like "Ed Edd n Eddy"? I just do !

I like Ed Edd n Eddy because it is funny, it has some really good lines/scenes/plots in the episodes, and it has good voice-acting (I think so anyway :D).

I like it because of pure stupidity of ed the show is hilarious and i will not stop watching it .

The Reason I like it, is becuase it is original.
CC's like PPG and Dexter do stuff that 100 cartoons have done already and been there, done that atmosphere. You normally know how it turns up in most cases.
Eds aren't like that. Everything (well most of it) that happens on the show can happen in real life. The Eds are images of people you once knew or know now, and none of that fantasy, Inventions, Giant Monster, Superhero, kinda stuff. 100% real. That's why I like it. It's like an animated sitcom, besides for Ed's Brute strength.

I think it brings out the nostalgia in some of us. it makes us remember back when we were young (well... at least those of us that are older :p ) and trying to get through those years as best we could and trying to fit in.
