Wanted to post this, no so much for the mixed review of JL, but for the well-deserved praises of Dexter and SJ (I love all of these shows!). It's interesting to read that PPG is more McCracken's baby :)

Anyways, I've enjoyed previous JL story arcs, and I believe the author must not have seen "Legends"? I do see his points, but some things couldn't be helped given the nature of the superhero JL team. And with producing a show based on a well-established universe with a long history (and complex licensing rules and restrictions), I'm willing to give Timm & Co. time to find their footing and hit their stride. After all, Tartakovsky & Co. must enjoy greater creative freedom.

BTW, I could've sworn I saw Paul Dini's name credited for at least one of the JL arcs. Has he joined permanently?

I'm also wondering if Phil LaMarr has given any interviews? As two of my favorite characters Jack and Green Lantern, I'd like to hear about his experience on both shows and with both sets of crews/actors (do they work in the same building?). Do both have similar budgets (for voice actors and animation)? I love SJ's stylized visuals, they're unique and very well done (even artsy). But I'm wondering, is SJ a lot cheaper/faster to draw than JL? Regardless, it'd be cool if T. & T. decide to swap babies for one ep just to see how it turns out.

I read the reviews of both "Jack" and "Justice League," and I agree with the reviewer on both of them. "Jack" dares to be different in every aspect (music, animation, backgrounds). As for "Justice League," it's got "Kids' WB! show" written all over it, stylewise and storywise.

BTW, I caught Part I of JL's "War World" episode one night. A few too many similarties between that ep and "Jack's" "Episode XVI" (Dome of Doom--when are you going to run this episode again, Cartoon Network?)

Am I the only one to notice that...and the similarities?
