The Tenchi credit sequence was SLIGHTLY different this time?


(The video wasn't changed, but the audio was.)

Yep, that always happens. The only weird thing about that is I actually liked that song! :eek:

Yea... after all of the hype last week about the second intros for Gundam 0083 and Tenchi(which we didn't get to see) we got the other ending tune for Tenchi. Oh well... I still like it better then recycling the intro tune into the ending.

Sure, but they also did that in the Toonami Version, which we are watching now.

Well at least we get a second SOMETHING.....

...but if it played on Toonami, then there's really no point.

Strangely enough I've been getting the urge to watch tenchi universe again watching it on saturday night AS.

I'm just fricking glad they aren't playing the damn tenchi in tokyo one.

Tenchi was more of a comedy, then they turned it into a love story in tokyo.

Yea, that was a welcome suprise. I liked that song, its more upbeat compared to the old ending theme. But I think it happens once though, we'll probably hear the same ol theme back next week.

The "new" ending theme you're all talking about is "Talent for Love", which is the REAL ending theme to the OVA series. The theme you've been hearing at the end of every Toonami/AS Tenchi ep is actually the opening music for the OVA, which CN just copied over their self-made credits instead of using the real ending music. For some reason though, at the end of episodes 9, 10, and 11, CN stuck in the real ending music to give us a change of pace, or something. (It's not even the full song. It cuts out right in the middle of the word 'heaven'.) But I think CN went back to the opening theme for eps 12 and 13.
