Think Final Fantasy TSW, will turnb off American audiences cuz of its navel gazzing?

I'm thinking about this and wondering if people will just ignore it because of the often debated "Cartoons are for kids thing," and are not use to the idea of serious animated drama It seems that Square is advertising it to teens. I think the right audience is being aimed at. However Titan A.E did the same thing last year and it still bombed. Oh well express thyself.
