With the PPG movie's premier date drawing nigh. I thought I'd shed some hope on the sutition for all of my fellow PPG fans out there.

Now, if you recall. Some five or six years ago there was a little known movie called "Power Rangers" released, and it faired very badly. Though this movie was basied on a mega-popular TV series, and even though the movie was a massive bomb. The series has remianed on the air ever since.

This may seem rather uninformaed, but keep in mind I've kept myself up-to-date on the news surronding the PPG movie. Yes there is a major lack of hype for the girls movie debut. Though I really don't see this as a reason to get all upset thinking that the series will be canclled. There are way too many PPG fans here in the US, and all over the globe, to have the series cancalled at this point. HOWEVER I'm not saying that the movie will-or will not-be a box office success.

As for the movie "promotional" dealings. We'll most likely see those kick in within the next month or so. (Yet with all of the ads for "Spider-Man" it may be hard to see.) Not in which including the summer broadcasts on KidsWB (even though I'll probally tape those.) Which will probally be the dieciding factor in weather or not the PPG Movie is a success or a bomb.

Till next Post-Keep The Faith!

Just because many people have seen it doen't mean it's a good movie.

Nobody's seen it- it hasn't been released yet.

I estimate it will make 20 million at the least. Anyone else have any estimates?

I think PPG-The Movie will actualy surprise alot of people this summer. No one really knows just how popular they really are, and this will come into play when the movie is released. I personally think it will gross from anywhere between $20 to $85 million dollars. Also, watch for the movie to get a slow start, but pick up afterwards. (this is my perdictions, and options.)

Um, yes, there was a flop Power Rangers movie...

And it was a sequel to a successful first one.

Anyhow, I don't really care about how good the movie does. Craig himself has said that CN will let him keep the show going as long as he feels about it.

All that you can really do is spread the word about the film. People that are not avid Cartoon Network fans probably don't even know the movie is being released.

Actually, you'll be surprised at how many PPG fans are really out there. Plus you also gotta figure about how many people may go to se it a second time. (I know I might.)

True, we gotta get the word out, and so far we've done a good enough job.

Another thing..maybe we should call this "The thead that just won't die out"

Think about this.

PPG has many fans young and old. A lot of them go to CN.com, right? And guess what: There are ads for the movie all over the place. One of the banner ads is for the movie, the front page has a Countdown in Days, and Orbit's Townsville section hypes it every week.

I think that might help a bit.:)
