I have this picture of my friend sitting in the trunk of this real tiny car with his feet hangin out and a big goofy grin on his face (my friend is 6'4", 270, and a football player). As a joke last year, I put the picture on hotornot.com, and on the license plate of the car I wrote "FOR THE BOYS". It scored an 8.-something. Recently, I put the same picture back up, but he asked me to change the license plate, so I changed it to "2FAT4U". It scored a 6.-something. There's an interesting sociological experiment. While hotornot.com may not be a controlled environment, it seems like the message on the license plate was affecting his vote results. But if you ask me, a picture this nuts is worth a 10 any day.

Nah.... I don't mean to sound sexist and cynical, but I've been to that site for quite a bit, and the ratings for women are a lot more critical than for men. This is my theory, but I think it's because the majority of people who vote on the girls are guys, who I personally think care more about appearances and care less about hurt feelings. I just want to say that that's just my opinion, and I'm aware that it may not be true.

That's part of the reason why I didn't put my picture up.... that and low self esteem. :p It depends a lot on what you're wearing for the women....or how little. I saw this picture of this really pretty girl, but she was wearing a sweatshirt and you couldn't see how well-endowed she was. She only got a 7.1 or something. Meanwhile, I saw this really ugly girl who looked about 12.... but she was wearing a short skirt, and had her legs in a certain position... she got an 8.9. You can ask RevToiletDuck about it :P

I agree. I got board and decided to try and find my own picture so I could give myself a 10. ;) so I went through the guy section giving every guy I saw a 1 and some of these guys were kinda ugly but would get scores of like 8 because maybe they were posingw ith there daughter or something and then on the girls section there were alot of cute girls I gave 9's to that got 6's or something off.

One thing I hated was how they gave all the fat girls 5 and under no matter how cute.

You're right, the less clothes you wear the higher your score will be. It's pretty bogus. I thought most of the prettiest girls were in the 6-8 range, above that was based more on how much skin was showing. I havent visited the site in like a year, but when I did at first I gave everyone either a 8-10 or a 1. Then I started feeling kinda bad and gave everyone 10's. And very quickly it got boring.

AHHHH! The track pic is driving me crazy! Exercise definitely does a body good! :D

I'd say you look between 15-18. Sometimes cosmetics can alter a person's age younger or older, but on average, you look 15-18.

BTW to anyone in particular--As a man, I can't say I don't turn my head at any flash of female skin...but most people (men included) should still be able to discern a gorgeous woman from an, uh, ugly one, despite what clothes she is wearing. I've been known to get hot over the ultra-conservative look...

lol, glad everyone seems to like the Track pic...and that's from about a year ago too! I LOVE running *random info*, I ran hurdles in track. I found hurdles to be so awesome, I mean...why just run? throw in some danger, the chance of great bodily harm, run AND jump over something! :p I'm not doing track this year, my senior year *sobs*. It has to do with my sis getting married in May, and my mom was freaked that I would fall doing the hurdles and break something or scar something up really bad. Being the scientific, librarian, nerd, and all-knowing-Oracle that I am, I say it's Experiment time! I totally agree with NF that the ratings are really based on how much body is showing. The first picture I had up, with me in a dress, which was a full body pic, got me a rating of 8.1. The new pic, which only show the upper half of my body, has only gotten a 7.7. Well, I'm going to put another picture up for the heck of it, the track one, specifically. And see if, because there's a bit more of me showing, if the rating will be similar to the dance picture one. So here we go!

lol, well that experiment didn't work. I put that Track pic up, and then today I went to see how it was doing, and they had rejected it! For any of the following reasons:

Contact information, such as an URL or email address, written on the photo or in your introduction.
Nudity, pornography, or sexually suggestive poses. HOT or NOT is strictly PG.
You are wearing lingerie, underwear, etc. See above.
You look like you are under 18.
Your image server doesn't work with our site. To check, go to your direct link and hit Refresh/Reload.
Your photo is broken, too big (wider than 640 pixels), or takes too long to load.
Group photos. It is unclear which person we are supposed to vote for.

I'm thinking that they think I look under 18 in that pic, wouldn't surprise me...I don't really think it would be nudity or sexually suggestive in the pose I'm in, do you? Oh well, it was amusing while it lasted.

Can't say it looks offensive to me. I'm biased, though, because I don't mind it at all. ;) You could possibly be mistaken for a 16 year old in it, though. I guess the fact that any "school "pic would scare them off.

It's curious, though. It's not really an overly "sexual" site as far as I can tell, and I don't see anything wrong with complementing even a 16 year old on their looks. I guess saying an underaged person is "hot" would be inappropriate, though. That and the site could get in trouble for being irresponsible.

i'm hotter than your average short, overweight black 19 year old guy. i'm light skinned, but bad skin runs in my fam, so my face isn't clear. even though i'm slightly overweight, the extra flab is spread out, so my clothes still look good on me. i have a big butt, which also runs in my fam. i have black hair, dark brown eyes and white, nearly perfect teeth. but those who know me well like my unique and twisted, mysterious personality. because of my soft voice and vocal inflections, girls have nicknamed me "the poet". should i go on?
