Today Marvel Comics Guru Joe Quesada announced that yet another Marvel property was being planned for development as an animated series. According to Joe the Great Lakes Avengers will soon be starring in their own animated series on Cartoon Network, Kids WB! and Fox Kids.
The one of a kind deal was hammered out over late Easter night and was finally agreed upon by all three companies to share the rights for the series. Official word says that Fox and WB will share resources for the project that will follow the many adventures of Mr. Immortal, Flatman, Big Bertha, Dinah Soar and Doorman as the fight off many dangers such as toxic sludge and will follow them through their average day as the weirdest group of teenages this side of the Western Hemisphere. Joe has high hopes that the series will be a huge success and will lead to a new comic, movie and a franchise restruant.
Joe also tells fans to be on the lookout for many other Marvel Superheros, esp Sludge Boy and the Silver Streaker. When asked about the new project Bruce Timm uttered some vague profanities and questioned why Justice League was being cancelled for this new project.
