For Physics we have to do a Timeline of both Cultural and Science Related Events. Now the Science part I blew through pretty fast but this Cultural stuff is getting frustrating. I can't seem to find a site with all the dates and years listed on one page.

Every page i've been to wants me to print out all the years between 1879 and 2001.. But i only need 100 dates, so my question is do any of you know of any sites with a slight summary of the world history, that doesn't note every dang fact or event in history ?

I have 2 extra questions, what years did Star Trek and Star Wars ?

Star Wars premiered in May of 1977.

Not sure about Star Trek though.

Star Trek is a Science Fiction series created in the 60s by Gene Roddenberry. The original series (TOS) ran for 3 Series between 1966 and 1969 and had 78 episodes plus a pilot, "The Cage". It was not until the second pilot "Where No Man Has Gone Before" that the famous trio of Captain Kirk, Mr. Spock and Dr. McCoy teamed up although Spock did appear with Captain Pike in that original pilot.
