This afternoon, i learn on CBC where the Britain's Mother Queen were dead at 101 years old. My condeleances on all in his royal family. :(

Wow, that's more than a century...

Of course, that doesn't compare to some of the old women in Japan, which in some areas house 100-120 year old women...who still work for a living! :eek:

I'm a dual citizen (more American than British, though) and I'd just like to tell my "mates" here on this board that I'm sorry for the loss. I always thought that the Queen Mum was the most level-headed and likeable of the whole Royal Family. She'll be greatly missed.

She lived a long and prosperous life. She will be greatly missed as she was always a favorite in the land where the sun never sets...
