He also did the Kenny and Chimpy CN pilot(And if you look carefully in the Kids Next Door pilot, Chimpy can be seen in the crowd of kids).

I know a lot about Danny Antonucci . . .

Danny Antonucci was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and ever since he was a little kid, he had a big interest in animation, and had an ambition to make his own show. When he went to college (I forgot the name exactly), he created his little own "college" show called, "The Barf Man" (which his class really liked, by what I've heard). After college, he worked on another "publicity" show called, "The Brothers' Grunt," which aired on MTV (just like what strikerowen said). After a few years, he founded a.k.a. CARTOON Inc. in (I believe) June 1994. After holding auditions and gathering a crew, he started to work on another show, "Ed, Edd n Eddy," which began in their studio around 1997-1998 (after getting everything all straightened-out; planning storylines, etc.). And on January 4, 1999, at 8 p.m. EST, "Ed, Edd n Eddy" premiered on Cartoon Network for the first time, with the episodes, "The Edtouchables/Nagged To Ed" (I'll never forget that day). I also heard that after "Ed, Edd n Eddy," Danny Antonucci will be working on another show.

I told you I know a lot. ;)

I want to make a correction - a.k.a. first opened on April 1, 1994 (I was a bit off). And an additional show that Danny worked on - "Lupo the Butcher."

Also, the show won a Platinum Award in June of 2001 in the 34th Annual WorldFest-Houston Awards for the (future) Eds' episode "Spin The Ed". And (by what I've heard) was nominated for an award (a different one) for directing in "A Glass Of Warm Ed."

James "Wootie" Wotton was nominated for an "Annie Award" for storyboard ("Outstanding Individual Achievement" to be exact) in the Eds' episode, "Wish You Were Ed." I heard that he won the Award.

And so far in the stats, the Eds are now 2nd to the US (since the Fancy Anvils), and 1st to the UK (top 5 in UK programming)!

I made a few updates myself here.

Danny A also did some commercials for Converse back in the 90s, didn't he?

Kevin Seal (who does the voice of "Sheep", "General Specific", and "The Ranting Swede" on "Sheep In The Big City") was an MTV VJ

addendum on the Brothers Grunt: They were started as part of the shorts identifying the network, in this case MTV. The abstractly grotesque cartoons were a hit that in that case they were given their own show (during the Liquid TV heyday). While Beavis and Butt-head, another one of those shorts from that show, became a hit, the Brothers Grunt I think lasted just a year. Usually I can see pararells between them and EEnE, though that toon is more cleaner, except for the exaggerations made on the Eds...

Since the Eds have become a sleeper hit, Danny A is given free rein to do another show, similar to Genndy Taratatovsky doing Samarai Jack after the hit with Dexter and his work on PPG...

Be interesting to see what Danny A turns out. While I'm thinking about it, I'm wondering if he shares an anti-corporate view on merchandising--similar to Bill Watterson...

About the merchandising, Danny does want the Eds to have some merchandising, but not every single piece of stuff in the store (like the exposure of powerpuff stuff); just maybe a few plushies (I'd love those!), a game, etc. (in other words, reasonable stuff). I doubt he's against it.

I heard about that, but (I don't know if it's just me) I haven't seen his name in the credits of Scooby Doo.

Plus, he was a teenager during the late '60s, so it might have been "college work" or something.
