The world sucks and continues to suck even more. Please take a moment to check this story (http://www.kctv.com/Global/story.asp?S=723166) . It hits close to home for me cuz I knew this kid. He was a customer of the bank I worked at.

Gee, that's terrible. This is such a sad world. There's tons of stuff that happens like that every week where I live, and after awhile you just don't pay too much attention to it. It's horrible to think how jaded a person has become to get to the point where stories like that don't really register anymore. *sigh* :(

I hear ya. I grew up in a small town and if something like this happened there, it would be big news. Same with car accidents. When I first moved here, one morning I was going to work and I saw a really bad car accident and I commented about it when I got to work, and everybody else was like "So?" I suppose that is the result of living in a large city for so long that the tragic small events that occur don't mean as much when you hear them. I mean, somebody may have died in that car accident! I think it was worthy to mention!

Thats really sad what happened. Its even more upsetting that people go and rhink they can take advantage of people because of dissabilitys they might have.

That's just... :( ...'shame' comes to mind. Shameful that those hijackers thought they could take advantage of someone just because of a hearing disability, and a shame that the world has lost a bright, intelligent young man.

The article didn't say if the crooks who did this got caught - but I hope they did. :(

They haven't been caught. They had some police sketches of them on the news last night hoping people would call with tips.
