O.k, FUNimation has the rights to Lupin 3rd. If I'm not mistaken, there was an animated series, & a large library of cartoons from the many years its been in existance. Apparently, FUNi is releasing an edited version of their first release(Something about Gemini? The title escapes me..for now..). Anyway...depending on how edited it is...
Think Lupin could make it to AS? Naturally there are some movies that would NOT be on AS no matter what(that girl is always naked...), but certain movies, & the tv show COULD be fine for AS, ya think? Of course, I haven't seen any of the movies yet...I've simply read up on a lot of the movies, & gotten my hands on the Manga. Anyway, think it could ever happen in some way? Movie or Mini-series kinda thing?

If I remember correctly, they're all movies, so there's no TV series for FUNi to air.

There are three Lupin TV series.
...but I haven't clearly heard whether or not FUNimation has the rights to those or just the specials.

I would LOVE to see Lupin on AS. It belongs on AS because it's played such an influential role in the anime scene for 25 years. Not every anime has that kind of longetivity, and it proves just how endearing and flexible the show's premise and characters are. It's a classic, which deserves airtime in the same way the original Mobile Suit Gundam series does. Even if you hate it, it's a series which is so important it deserves at least one run on US TV.
