Mr. Vasquez is very good, yes, and Invader Zim was nothing short of amazing, but no... he's not god. :)

I'm sorry, but I have always found "Johnny the Homicidal Maniac" to be way overrated. Zim and "Squee", however, is another story entirely. Heck, I'd like to see a "Squee" cartoon one day, but I think we have a better chance of seeing the New York Yankees lose 100 games (like my beloved Pittsburgh Pirates).

I have just about all of Jhonen Vasquez's works. I lost faith in humanity for a little while when zim was cancelled. I have emailed him several times to suggest that he try to pitch a show for another network, like CN or HBO, something like that. I would love to see a 15 minute JV cartoon on Adult Swim, Id call it, "The Horrible Misadventures of Filler Bunny and Monkey who gets shot in face"! :p

I'm a HUGE Jhonen fan...Big time. But, I wouldn't go so far as to say God..not even A God(If the multi-god thing is your schtick). But, maybe a demi-god of sorts. Heh....

Lets just say he's a very blessed man who has given this raving pile of fanboy worms something to believe in. He's a good man indeed. :D

A god, certainly not. A guy with an interesting sense of humor (that appeals to alot of ppl) yes. Mortals don't make good gods. ;) I think zim is great, he went far beyond anything nick ever had (save ren and stimpy, and rocko) that's why I like him and his work. He also outs the craziest things in his shows (mega pepe, giant rubber pig!).
