Yes, I was just going to mention that. It sounds like a girl version of "Robot Jones."

Technically, "Rugrats" is cancelled.

I wonder who will produce these shows?

Well, I know Jimmy Neutron will be Nickelodeon Animation (The only project aside from the "Oh, Yeah!" spinoffs "The Fairly OddParents" and "Chalk Zone."), Preschool Daze will be Klasky-Cuspo (since it's a "Rugrats" spinoff) and Max and Ruby will most likely be Nick Jr. Productions. I would like to see Nick Animation or my personal favorite, Nelvana, do the other ones.

I wonder what the action block will be called.

BTW, Matt Wilson, Rugrats is not cancelled. K-C has stressed doing the spinoff at the same time as continueing the original series.

So, basically, the baby burden is not off quite yet.

Actually, "Jimmy Neutron" is not animated at Nickelodeon Animation Studios. It's animated by a company by the name of DNA Productions (http://www.dnahelix.com). DNA Productions also animated and created "Olive, the Other Reindeer," which originally aired two years ago on FOX and then this past Christmas on Nickelodeon.

Danny Phantom is by the amazing duo of HARTMAN and MARMEL.

BTW, I edited the article a half an hour ago with new information. Apparently, the new action block will be called Nickelodeon Slam. LOL. That sounds like a name Nickelodeon would envision.

How can they order more Spongebob episodes, unless these are the last few? I just wish they'd put Invader ZIM on the more episodes list, oh well.

Nickelodeon UK has a SLAM block as well...it's an abbreviation for "Super Large Action Madness" and apparently it comes on weekend mornings.

All Growed up would have been a better choice than angelica and susie

They are the last ordered amount of episodes, if I understand correctly. Steve was contracted to do a certain amount and these were the episodes produced, but never aired.

So I guess UPN isn't in the Saturday rat race after all, at least with Nick and probably not at all. In a way it tells you what Mel really thinks of UPN.

I guess we'll find out soon if UPN will still do their Sunday and Weekday blocks.

Hi, I;m new here.

If they don't cancel RUGRATS or SIMPSONS (WHoom\ps, got my Klasky Csupo shows mixed]-both shows are stupid anyway) then they should not cancel REN AND STIMPY.

What was the deal behind the cancelllation?

So, which one of these shows will be cancelled within 6 months?
C'mon, it always happens. And usually to the best show.

"The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius" - series version of the hit movie, which has been nominated for an Oscar for Best Animated Movie (20 episodes)

To Go Off comment for a post or so, I Pisses me off that the nominated Jimmy Neutron and passed over Richard Linklater's "Waking Life" for best Animated Feature. With Out that nomination it'll probobly never get wide release.

It ain't on now (due to head to head 2002) but last time it was on it had.

7:00 Cardcaptors
7:30 Extreame ghostbusters
8:00 Invader Zim
8:30 Yu-gi-oh

Just if anyone were interested.

So, instead of having one stale Rugrats series... we're going to have two?

*sigh*

Ah well, not that it matters, I stopped watching Crapolodean long ago, especially since Zim is in a timeslot when I can never catch it.

Nickelodeon Slam. . . .Whatever. As long as I see ZIM, pig commands me. . . . .

A rugrats spin-off. . .Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you the final sign of the downspiral of Nickelodeon.

Nickelodeon will also launch a new "action" block called Nickelodeon Slam. It will run Sundays from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM and will include a child version of "Robot Wars," along with returning series, "Butt Ugly Martians" and "Invader Zim."

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Sure, it may be cool to have Invader Zim returning, but a 2-hour "action" block?! This is just gonna be another ripoff of Toonami, except with Nick graphics instead of Cartoon Network or Kids WB.

If they have a robotic announcer, or a techno-like soundtrack, for this block, then Nick has gone too far!

So, basically Nick has sold it's soul. :)
