Did anyone notice on digital cable/digital subchannel THIS TV the network is now showing following most movies the channel airs the classic Pink Panther shorts and maybe other DFE shorts?

No, I hadn't, but it's a great idea. I've been waiting for either this channel or Retro Television Network to add classic cartoons to their lineup.

This TV, I'm happy to say, has just been added to our cable package in the Pittsburgh area.

Word! I mysteriously got This TV when I scanned my digital flat screen TV and found a few digital subchannels were added to my set.

Wouldn't surprise me if some people can find this station out there. The only other reason the cartoons are getting shown is perhaps due to MGM's co-ownership of the channel. Sadly there isn't an affiliate in my hometown yet.

I thought this was some Canadian cable station or something. I see it's a full fledged US broadcast network, and I had never even heard of it. It is everywhere else but NYC! I see it has hooked up with the Tribune stations in the biggest markets. (Which are also CW; though it's not on flagship WGN either). So what is with WPIX here?

Closest to me is WDIV in Detroit, but it's hard to get a clear signal from my indoor bow-tie antenna. Too bad their main webpage doesn't really help you at all besides a schedule run-down, so this is one of those cases were we might have to make that call or e-mail to our local stations to request it (let alone if they can fit it on or not).

How are you using an antenna at all? Aren't
the analog signals off now?

You can still use antennas to pick up the digital signals.
I get the impression there's still a lot of misinformation out there relating to the new digital TV switchover and what one could do about it.

I saw an "Ant And The Aardvark" cartoon over the weekend and while the opening had the original theatrical theme, the closing had the 1970s TV closing tune used on NBC's Pink Panther Show.

They had a 30 minute Pink Panther block on Saturday afternoons for awhile as well. It was Pink Panther shorts only the few times I caught it.
