Essential Episodes of Ben 10

I want to start watching Ben 10: Alien Force, but I haven't seen Ben 10 the original cartoon. I don't want to watch all of the episodes of that show, so I was just wondering if someone could list the essential episodes, so that I'd be able to understand the characters and motivations.

I want to start watching Ben 10: Alien Force, but I haven't seen Ben 10 the original cartoon. I don't want to watch all of the episodes of that show, so I was just wondering if someone could list the essential episodes, so that I'd be able to understand the characters and motivations.

The first episode is essential because you see how Ben get's the Omnitrix and his powers, and the last episode from the first season when Ben locks horns with Vilgax is essential because it's a huge culmination and a great fight to end the first season. Another essential would be the episode where Gwen gets her powers, I think it's season 3 but i'm not totally sure, and the series finale would be another good episode to catch.
