Which main villain do you think is better? Dr. Zin or VV Argost?
Argost so far, we have only seen him suceed, and not fail. It is incomplete, I need to see what he does when things start to go wrong inevidably like they do for villains, before I can judge him. So far he is awesome, hopefully he does not turn into a cliche villain when he is ultimately defeated.
So far, Argost is a cool customer and nothing really rattles him and most everything goes according to plan, while Dr. Zin has lost his cool many times, of course he has been defeating many times.

Argost is voiced by the same guy who voiced The Brain. He wins by default.
V.V. Argost is a great villain and he gets my vote, I don't know what it is but his accent makes him sound and seem all the more devious. Anyone agree?

It's kinda been too long since I've seen JQ to remember how Zin was, mostly, but I think I'd still cast my vote for Argost. Zin had those big mechanical spider robots, though. lol I think they got destroyed. Zin's plots have fallen though a lot, I assume.
Argost is definitely an awesome villain and has a lot of personality, style, and wicked skills along with him being pretty mysterious to boot. You never know what tricks he's got up his sleeves!
And Zin never had an awesome half cryptid giant spider mutant dude for a manservant. That's plus points already. XD

Well just a reminder of evil Zin was, you all should check out the tv movie "Johnny's Golden Quest". He killed Johnny's mother, and in the end we found out he survived and he gave an awesome evil look.
Argost killed most of the secret scientists, but I don't know if any were by his own hands. Zin has killed people directly.

Are you talking about The Brain as in Pinky And The? If so, it's not the same guy. Argost is voiced by Corey Burton, The Brain was voiced by Maurice LaMarche.

It sounds like the same guy to me. But I'll take your word for it.

Him being voiced by Corey Burton still makes it an instant win for me, even though I knew he was voicing him before looking at the credits. That and the fact that he is a homage to Vincent Price. Can it get any sweeter?
But since I don't know Dr. Zin that well, of course I'll give Argost the upper hand since I know more about his deeds than Zin.

Argost has that charisma and charm that Zin doesn't have. Plus Argost seems to be more cunning than Zin.
Giving it to Argost.

Hmm. Well, Argost has killed Ulraj's father (although it was technically by circumstances and not his own hands in person. He caused it, though.) But he attemps...Actually, that may be even a little nastier than directly. Argost seems to try and murder from afar without having to get his hands all that dirty. lol He did also attempt to run Zak through with Drew's sword and stuff, though, among a few other things. That was pretty direct.

Oh, I thought he might have meant Brainiac from Superman. Now he's a great villain, too. Burton and awesome villains = win right there.

Yup. Seems Argost is winning by a mile here. :D Until some disgruntled JQ Zin fans show up to prove us wrong, I think he's got it in the bag.

Burton's also voicing Count Dooku in the Clone Wars show, and if I'm not mistaken, he also voices the Boomerang promos. I could go on, but he's incredibly varied.

Thanks for the votes of nefariousness, faithful Weirdworld watchers! I, myself, am a big fan of Dr. Zin, but I like to think we've gone one better with V.V. Argost (ever notice how those initials look like fangs?). As to the question of whether or not Argost has actually killed anyone with his own hands, I can tell you he HAS. This will all be revealed in future episodes, but take my word for it-- the man is capital 'E', Evil.

lol So I'm not weird for thinking that? Awesome.
I think as time passes, maybe the TSS and Argost can become a classic series in the exact same vein as JQ with Argost being one heck of a classic villain that everybody remembers. Maybe even more than Zin! :D
Also, these little info teasers make me so very eager to see more episodes!

Huh. This is kind of tricky for me.
I'll actually give this one to Argost. While Dr. Zin became really complex and interesting later in the comics, he originally took a lot of credibility away from Jonny Quest and was Doug Wildey's least favorite villain.

Argost. The voice-acting sells it for me. Also, I like his little shuffling movements.

I'm also entertained by those times he actually looks scared. :)

That does not surprise me, he has a pretty good immatation of Christopher Lee he also uses that voice in Kingdom hearts Chain of Memories (PS2 version)
Burton is a great voice actor, and the voice he gives Argost is top notch. Yeah I have to go with Argost, never have I wanted a villain to lose so badly and boy was it worth it in "Kur Rising" to finally see him lose.
