So, yeah. Surprisingly, I found a mini booklet in my Nick Magazine (July 2009).

The cover shows the CN logo, with "This Summer" written next to it. It shows the kids from The Othersiders, Chris from TDI/A, A screencap of Destroy, Build, Destroy, and a screencap of Survive This, plus advertising a contest, and a URL to see sneak peeks of their "awesome new shows", most of which have premiered.

First page shows the following:

Wednesdays: CN Real
Thursdays: Total Drama Action
Fridays: Star Wars The Clone Wars
Saturdays: CN Real
Sundays: Cartoon Network Flicks

Next page is about The Othersiders. Nothing much of interest.
Next one is about Survive This, which gives you outdoor survival tips.
Next one talks about Destroy, Build, Destroy and BrainRush, plus two apparently upcoming shows called "Dude, What Would happen...", which describes it as "Answering important questions like "what would happen if we blow-torch a van full of popcorn?"" and "Bobb'E Says", which describes it as "A fast-paced, viral video show exposing life's most embarassing secrets. SATURDAYS"

The other half of the page shows previews of Scooby Doo! The Mystery Begins, and Ben 10: Alien Swarm and says you can see sneak peeks at cartoonnetwork.com/thissummer.

Next page: First half is an ad for TDA, which describes it as "the most off-the-wall animated reality series on TV!", and lists the top five worst action movie titles on Earth.

The other half is an ad for FusionFall.

The next page is about The Flicks for the first half, most notably saying "CN Has all the movies you love all summer long: Nacho Libre, Shaggy Dog, Spy Kids 3, and Dr.Dolittle".

The other half if about Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

The back cover is about a sweepstakes where you can win $1,000 as the grand prize, a movie voucher as 2nd prize, and a Star Wars Electronic Lightsaber as 3rd prize, and tells you to enter code "ROTFLOL" online at cartoonnetwork.com/thissummer.

And that's it. Pretty strange they're advertising in the magazine of their "rivals".

I hope those are just some of the movies and not all, since all of those (except Dr.Dolittle) have aired within the past few weeks.

I think they have done it before. Heck, they used to air ads for CN on Nick.

I'm surprised to see ANOTHER Disney film airing. What's next? High School Musical?

Not until Disney believes they can't make more money off of it by airing it themselves.

Well at least they will get ratings that way:p

Also got this same booklet in the latest issue of Sonic.

Hopefully we can one day look back at this booklet and laugh...hopefully.

Yeah, this was also in a bunch of DC's mainstream comics (Forget which ones, I took them out as soon as I saw them ).

*reads first post*

Wow, if I knew nothing about Cartoon Network I'd wonder why in the world they're called Cartoon Network in the first place. Yeah a couple of animated properties are mentioned (not Chowder or Flapjack to no one's surprise), but they obviously aren't the focus.

It's so disheartening that so many people are doing 180s and just accepting this.
