View Full Version : TDA Question: How come they don't vote off Heather?

In the beginning of TDI no one really saw Heather as much a threat until later in the game but by then some campers were becoming bigger targets than her (so they were voted off instead) and she kept getting immunities. But now that everything has started over in TDA, why don't they vote her off before she can start any trouble? I know the real answer is that the creators need someone for drama and conflict but if this were real shouldn't they vote her off as soon as possible?
Probably because she hasn't really done anything "evil" so far, just complain a lot. If anything, Justin seems like the contestant to watch out for.

That's a good question. I guess that the writers want to keep her around so that she can cause more drama with the characters. Although, after what happened in TDI, no one would probably want to team up with Heather. She seems to be more like the punching-bag for the show thus far, but that could change. I also agree that Justin might be the one to watch out for since he's able to get what he wants because of his looks.

Well, she hasn't been very evil so far. And even if she was, she does really well in challenges and her team needs her. I predict that she'll leave around the merge.

Yeah, she won't be able to do much manipulating this season because everyone's onto her. Beth and LIndsay have wised up, and it seems like only Harold's the lone guy who can be suckered by her.
What I want to know is: Is she going to regrow her hair this season?
Also..
The Screaming Gaffers (The team she's on) haven't had to go to as many Gilded Chris ceremonies as the Killer Grips.

Besides, strange things actually happen on reality shows. Why didn't they vote out Dr. Will early in Big Brother All-Stars?

Hmmm... you two do have a point but it's still flirting with danger.

Maybe the writers want to keep her to make the show more dramatic. Plus, she is really manipulating into bringing (Lindsay and Beth) to her alliance from last Season. Right now she thinking bringing Harold to her alliance.

That's a strange question, considering that so far, they've only had one opportunity to vote Heather off. And Geoff and Bridgette were annoying everyone else, so... yeah. Heather hasn't really done anything yet this season to frustrate everyone (much), while Geoff and Bridgette have just been prepetually kissy-face

They didn't vote off Heather cuz Bridgette and Geoff's making out was more annoying then Heather.
Then Heather's team wins a lot.
They didn't vote off Heather in episode 7 cuz Gwen was bailing the challenge and Heather did nothing but annoy everyone.
Heather gets voted off in episode 15.

I think it might have to do with Heather, despite her personality, she can actually be a team player if the situation calls for it. She may be a manipulative, bossy, and all around witch, she at least knows that teamwork is the key to victory. She can tolerate the people around her and not show it unless it pushes her over the edge.
Besides if anything I'm expecting Justin to be the "Heather" of this season, but however, I think he lacks the traits that made Heather a great antagonist in the first season, henceforth why I think they maybe nerfing his potential this season.

Heather gets voted off in episode 15.
Um, there have only been thirteen episodes so far this season. We haven't gotten that far yet. How do you know for sure she gets voted off in that episode? For all I know, she could be around for much longer than that!

Unlike last season, Heather isn't a main antagonist. In fact, none of the characters are. It sure as heck isn't Justin, he's not as mean Heather. I think I'm starting to see the problem with TDA. All the characters are antagonizing to one or another, and ending losing their likability in the longrun.
But that's just my opinion.

For one thing, they haven't voted heather because they want to watch her suffer. Besides, there is one antagonist-Chris. He makes a career out of watching others suffer.

If Rho is like me, there is a very good reason for his guess. And it's this:
Teletoon has a game where you get to guess the losers to follow. Unfortunately, the game is actually ahead of the show, and it tells the losers way ahead of time. Because of this, we knew before hand that
Owen, Heather, and Leshawna are the next to be axed (not sure about the order). Also we kinda know who makes it to the final 4 but the current line-up is weird.

Why would they reveal who gets voted off so early? That's kind of a risky move.
And I think there are so many reasons why no one hasn't attempted to vote off Heather.
1) Geoff and Bridgette playing tonsil hockey 24/7 got on everyone's nerves.
Also 2)
Unless if you've seen that episode, they eliminate Gwen who has been throwing the challenges for that episode so that she can repay her 'debt' to the Grips and I guess fix karma.
3) Don't know if it's a bad inference, but Justin has been distracting some of the castmates with his looks but..
But even pretty boy's so called "godly" looks are starting to lose their effect. The producers could easily play this for laughs.
And according to a lot of people, he's supposedly the new antagonist. But I think Chris and Chef have done those jobs a lot better starting from day one. And...
Geoff's starting to look a lot like an antagonist for TDA Aftermath. In fact, he acts so much like Chris that it's scary
4) The Gaffers really haven't lost any challenges except for that one. In fact...
Gwen voted herself off along with Leshawna's and Heather's votes. DJ even though his team won the challenge voted himself off in honor of his morals and the guilt he was feeling.
5) Heather hasn't done anything evil yet. Sure she likes to try to "roast" on someone every now and again, but she's basically lost all power she had in Total Drama Island. Everyone knows what she's capable of so everyone's wise enough to avoid her (except for poor Harold). She's actually starting to look like she's becoming 'good' and has even become one of the strongest competitors for the Gaffers (but technically everyone was a strong competitor on the Gaffers. The Grips..well the Grips just don't have the more aggresive competitors and sort of lack leadership).
And in short, that's probably why Heather hasn't been voted off yet.
But, she may easily pull a Majin Vegeta (when less competitors are in the competition or when the teams dissolve).
