I ran into this when I was on Cold Hard Flash (http://www.coldhardflash.com/), which is a website that showcases professional Flash animation.
I'm assuming that this commercial is going to start airing on CN soon.

Oh, woops.
Still, Chowder and co. look amazing in Flash.

The animation is actually pretty good.

it follows a number of traditional CN shows that have been animated in Flash for one reason or another - with a good result.

Can't believe I'm saying this, but the animation in the commercial looks better than the actual show itself!

Didn't know that it was done on Flash.

Wow, that's some impressive Flash work, if I do say so myself.

Hell, I even like the rock motif of the song.

Can't agree that the commercial's animation is better than the show itself, but it does look smooth and full of life, unlike most Flash animated cartoons nowadays. *coughcoughTDIcoughcough*

I agree. The animation in this was good, but not as good as the show's animation.

I don't understand how if a commercial, presumably with a much smaller budget than Flash shows like Johnny Test, TDI, and 6Teen, can have such good Flash animation, what prevents those aforementioned shows from having as good animation. Is it laziness, or a lack of talented animators, or what?

That's exactly what I want to know.
In any case, it's probably all of the above.

I've seen a couple of Flash Chowder ads but this one definitely looks the best! It's very detailed and smooth and captures the Chowder style the best of all the Flash ads. Also generally it's a cute ad; Truffles singing is hilarious and when Chowder goes "SINGING ABOUT FOOD~" it's so in character!

Seeing Mung dressed in full Angus Young attire is pretty damn amusing. XD

Maybe Chowder can just go in Flash, so that the animators wouldn't waste much money in it, because it was actually a pretty good efort.

See, Flash can be entertaining to watch, but then again, I also siad that when I was enjoying TDI.

Anyone else find it morbidly ironic that a character notorious for being obese and having a huge apetite is promoting healthy eating?

It's like having Jimi Hendrix do an anti-drug PSA.

Just sayin'.

Maybe their trying to encourage Chowder to cut down on his eating habits and slim down a bit?

Exactly, and that's what makes it so funny.

Also, does anyone else notice the serving size on the box is "22 cookies"? I'm guessing either it was put in as a joke or they're really small cookies.
