Ben 10 AF fans Question: Would you like an episode tournament arc?

I dunno, people suggesting plots for future episodes gets pretty fanfiction-y.
Plus that is done in Shonen manga/ anime so many times Id prefer not to.
I rather they take out bad guys for the good of the world instead of being set up as a tournament.

Nah, anime/manga has done that idea to death. It's such a cliche now; they even did a tournament arc on 2K3 Ninja Turtles.

No. It's be boring an repetitive, that's the last thing AF needs. And we already got a tournament-esque episode back in the first series when Ben and Kevin where transported into that spaceship and forced to battle aliens.

Nah. Sorry, but that idea just screams "cheesy fanfic". I agree with Dudley that if Ben and the gang are going to fight aliens, it should solely for world saving purposes, not for sport.

Nah, aside that Ben 10 AF was pretty much snorefest. with a tournament gets pretty lamer, i mean seriously the writers couldn't think of making an unexpected twist on the show since mostly the stories where too predictable.

I don't think it would be a good idea...I'd be like taking the Teen Titans episode "Winner Take All" and repeating it over and over, which would most likely make AF loose popularity fairly quickly, IMO.

While some tournament arcs can be interesting, depending on how they are handled, I agree that doing a tournament in Alien Force wouldn't work out. It just kind of goes against they're fighting aliens to save the Universe, not for sport. Besides, no offense, but it does feel kind of like something that would be better suited for a fan-fiction story than the actual series.

I agree. It could work as like, a 3-part episode or something, but putting together an entire season for this one tourney would get repetitive and old quickly.

Definately, the one show that comes to my mind that has whole seasons of tournament story arcs is Yu-Gi-Oh, but then again that's the basic plot for that show anyways.

I agree with you - it would be fine for a few episodes but it would wear out its welcome pretty quickly as the basis for a whole season.

Frankly, I just want new episodes. AND I'd like it if, just once, an attempt to talk about Alien Force isn't shanghaied by whiners who stopped watching after one episode. Why does the internet have a mad-on for this series? I found it to be WAY better than the original.
