Gee, thanks for letting us know a week after they started.
But at least this provides official confirmation that AS will keep Bleach going for the time being.

What the ****?!? I thought I read here that double eps weren't to start until May? **** CN! I deleted the eps I had recorded and took it off my list of shows to record.

LOL^
I didn't record it, I kinda forgot that there were uncut episodes coming around this time lol. I'm sure I will understand what's going on though.

So does this mean Naruto is no longer Viz's favorite series?
I find this a little ironic. In Japan, Bleach is popular, but it falls 3rd place to One Piece and Naruto, while in the US, it's the only one out of the big 3 to have a TV deal.

Bleach is Viz's only series that still has a chance at a mainstream audience because of the TV deal. Naruto Shippudden's been screwed over TV-wise because CN won't even run the final 10 episodes of the original series, and with Viz heavily promoting the online airings I doubt there's any urgency to get the dub released on DVD. Especially as I suspect Viz is waiting for Stuart Snyder to get fired.

Huh? Code Geass will be new eps, too. Unless you meant the only anime from Viz with new episodes, which I guess is true, unless you count online streaming.

I assume you're being sarcastic, since even if you were only watching the second episode due to thinking the first episode was a rerun you would have noticed that you were missing episodes.

You mean there's a possibility that Stuart Snyder will get fired? Oh, happy days. Maybe he will be shown getting fired on that new Fox reality series.
I wonder if Viz has tried to get Naruto Shippuden on Adult Swim?

No, I wasn't. I wasn't watching them as they were coming on so late, but was recording them and had gotten more than few eps behind. When they first started showing double eps, they were repeating the previous weeks ep so i discontinued recording both eps. At some point - before May, obviously - they changed with no prior notice.

The notice has been on their schedule thread since March that double premieres of Bleach would begin April 18, a week before GI Joe Resolute would air its premiere, and then Code Geass would begin with one new episode on May 2 before getting an hour of premieres beginning on May 9 to the end of the series. It was also mentioned in the schedule updates here.

Seriously? I would have sworn the last mention of Bleach stated doubles eps in May. Oh well, I lose.
If Snyder is fired there will be much rejoicing.
Unless you're Canadian.

So, you only missed one episode then, right? You stopped recording it just because you missed one episode? I'm sure there's ways that you can see the missing episode. Isn't Bleach on hulu?

Does an online schedule really qualify as notice these days? Some of the online sites weren't even accurate. Animenewsnetwork stated that Code Geass was going on hiatus, which isn't true, and they didn't even state when new episodes would premiere. Now that they're airing an hour of Bleach and an hour of Code Geass, it would be nice if Adult Swim aired an ad, but they probably won't.

It is, but they're only up to episode 75 (subbed only), so it'll be a while before they add the episode he missed on there.
