While I thought Paranoia Agent was pretty good and Case Closed had its moments, I'll go with Death Note.

Case Closed was much more entertaining to watch than the others. PA was decent enough I guess, and Death Note was fairly interesting until the last third, which was crap and completely destroyed any desire for me to see it again, and WHR was just... well, it had one good episode at least.

Death Note is the only one I really honestly saw, so I'll go with that.
If the topic is mystery OR horror, then I guess you're missing Blood+.

Really close between Case Closed and Death Note, but I went with Case Closed since there are so many stories and possible outcomes that it's constantly fun to watch. More anime, however, should be as engaging or equally intriguing as Death Note.
Suggestion: Next poll should be "Most Horrorific Show" and may or may not include non-anime shows.

Well, I put Blood+ in one of the best action anime polls. Sorry.
Oh, and next I am going to make a "Best comedy anime on AS" poll. It'll be fun.:D

I like Death Note and all, but is it really considered a Mystery/Horror anime? I always considered it more like a Suspense/Thriller. I don't recall to many scenes of horror and you pretty much always knew what was going on. Sure it was a mystery to most of the characters in the series, but not the viewer.
