The second-to-last episode of the season airs tonight at 12:15 AM Eastern.

I could have sworn that the AS bumps said this episode would take place next season. For those that are wondering and haven't seen the teaser, this is the episode with the fan made art/videos that won the contest AS was running before S2 started.
I wonder how this episode will revisit Damnesia Vu and tie up the whole plotline about Xavier's mom.
It's probably not in the season finale, considering it's about Xavier running out of desert and drowning in a sea of completion.

That kind of sounds like a series finale. As for Xavier's mom, I don't think they'll tie up anything involving her. If we get a third season, Xavier will probably have given up that quest for something else equally unattainable.

I was assuming that when the bumps said the fan made videos would be part of episode 'next season'.
But then again, it wouldn't be the first time an AS show was cancelled when another season was all but assured.

I can't believe that those were all user-submitted. Makes me wish I had sent in one. :P
Whoa. A fake-out. At the beginning, they announced that only one person submitted something. Instead, at the end, we get a list of winners, and it was user-submitted. Also, for the first time this season, a credits sequence which was really good, even though it was as twisted as the rest of the episode (and the series in general).
That was probably the weirdest thing that will ever air on television.
...Also, did I see a bit of Shmorky's (http://www.somethingawful.com/d/flash-tub/) animation in there?

The animated bits weren't too good, but the live action parts were for the most part gold, especially the first LA bit. Whoever was doing that first Xavier imitation was spot on.
I also loved how they just kept randomly injecting that clip of the dog eating and the voiceover of the woman talking to him into the last few clips.

Yep, the credits said "Dave Kelly" for that segment. That was Shmorky, alright.
Fantastic episode. One of the best things that will ever air on television.

Is it just me, or does Xavier not look quite right when drawn in 2D? In 3D/CGI he looks fine, but animated traditionally, he just doesn't look right to me.
