Anyone here who watches the Bleach dub, and does not keep up with the Bleach anime in Japan, much less keep up with the latest chapters of the manga in Japan.

Do you read the english manga of Bleach? It is licensed by Viz media, and they are ahead of the anime dub. Just curious to know.

I do all 4 of them!

Yeah, Bleach manga is very far ahead from the anime. It's just about finished the arc after Soul Society.

Well from what you said by all 4 of them, does that mean you do follow the anime series in Japan, as well as the manga in Japan? If so, you don't count. (neither do I, I keep up with the latest chapters in Japan, as well as the anime series in Japan)

I am asking the people that just watch the dub version, and does not keep at all with the anime series in Japan and manga in Japan.

I just read the shonen jump book, which is behind the english novel but in the arrancar arc.

I don't pay attention to the manga much anymore. The anime seems to have a clearer narrative than the manga does, filler and all, so I'm going to stick with the anime.

In any case, the only reason why the manga vaulted ahead was because of the Bount filler. Once the Arrancar arc gets under way (especially at two a week) it'll catch up and even pull ahead in about three months.

I only watch the English dub of the anime, but I read the manga from Japan.

I started with just watching the dub, but when I went on a long break in the middle of the Soul Society arc, I had to know what happened and started reading the manga.

I've bought a few of the manga volumes from Viz, though ( volumes 1 through 8, and volume 20 ).

I have all the English translated manga volumes (up to 26),and also read the chapter(s) in Shonen Jump....I used to just keep up with the English releases, but about 6 months back,I started reading the weekly chapters from Japan's Shonen Jump....(because I was curious as to why the fandom kept pairing two of the characters up when they'd never shown any kind of romantic interest in one another, and the creator keeps hinting at other pairings for both of them...I still don't understand the pairing  ,but the chapters have been good for the most part)....
I do enjoy watching the anime on Adult Swim (many have complained about it,but I love the dub),but I kinda like the manga more...it's funnier in places (Kon gets alot of funny scenes that either get changed around or not included in the anime, for example)...and I like the "side-stories",and the little "thumbnail" comics that appear between chapters sometimes....

Yeah, I'm all caught up both side of the world in the anime (The current stuff in japan, and the U.S.) as well caught with the current events in the manga in both U.S. and Japan. For the dvd release I mostly watch the episodes in Japanese, sometimes in the english (I got Volume 1 - 14 on dvd, getting Volume 15 for my brithday in May, and after I finish Soul Socity on dvd, I'm going for boxsets for Bount Arc and up.).

I read whatever volumes are in the library. So far I've gone up to volume 23.

I wonder if Kon's "paradise" image will appear in the anime...:D:D:D

I have a feeling that the translation is not exactly what Tite Kubo wrote? I have also read fan translation of the Japanese version, and I am just as doubtful, everything is word for word.

I wish I was fluenent in Japanese and the Japanese writing. Oh well, it is still great to read in both the offical Viz english version and the fan scans of the Japanese version.
