New Toonzone Record Or Another April Fool's Day Joke?

Did we set a new record for most users on Toonzone on April 1st 2009?:

"Most users ever online was 1,182, Today at 05:59 PM."

I would think that it's another April Fool's Day joke, but the site has been running pretty slow today...

Apparently something got screwed up and the counter reset itself. The previous record was something like 2,070.

If the reset was an intentional AFD joke, none of the admins have owned up to it. Considering that there was some definite slowdown and glitchiness on the first that was most definitely NOT intentional, I'm guessing it was probably just an accident.

I thought the slowness was to help simulate the good old speeds of dial-up Internet from 1999.
