Cartoons networks big hit!

Hey guys well i have been watching Cn on and off for the last 14 years. And during that time i had some laughs and felt the harsh reality which was ed edd and eddy gone gone.. *poof*.. But i got over and have been flipping cn on again time to time.. But why am here making this post is just to see if u guys feel the same way i do on that Cn in the last what 7 months came back with a big fight with great shows like even recently L.o.s.e, The Secret Saturdays, Brave and the bold, clone wars and etc. I also wanna know what "cartoon" do u think is the big hit for for u.. Like what cartoon really floats ur boat..

No, definitely not. Outside of Adult Swim there's nothing on Cartoon Network I watch. I can't think of a time in previous years that Cartoon Network has been this bad. There have been some bad times in prior years, but there's always been something that kept me watching the network. Now there's nothing.

I really like Flapjack, but I hardly ever watch CN any more. Not because its bad or anything its just that I am sure that everyone else at my house would rather watch something else. I don't think it is on the same level as it was six years ago, but the Noods are nice.

I'm very sorry for this but L.O.S.E, from the makers of stormhawks? I'm sorry but that show is awful and brave & the bold is good and TDi and SS is also good

I myself am shocked that L.O.S.E. is the thing that came after Storm Hawks it like going from the Tropics to the North pole in just A short time, think of the temps change there from really Hot to now very Cold.

I really hoped that Storm Hawks would of got Another season. but that is just how it goes now an days. plus the truth hurts I can no longer watch Storm Hawks on CN.


but I can not see season 2 here. it only airs in Canada and Austraila ect. not in the U.S. anymore. since Cartoon Network gave it the Boot last year; I myself really have no more reason to watch Cartoon Network.

or any other Station, I am happy none the less; watching hardlly no Tv anymore. an just doing other things like reading Books and writing in my Journal,
taking walks ect.

Well, I like Star Wars: The Clone Wars. But lately I've been avoiding CN for some time and the only shows I watch on CN is Chowder, Johnny Test, and of course Clone Wars. But CN right now is in the big dump.

I don't know if I outgrew the channel, I think the channel grew up to another generation that I can't keep up with or want to. I like Flapjack and Chowder is decent, but other than that CN is pretty much downhill.

I don't think it has anything to do with my nostalgia, I just think that all this Flash and CGI is overwhelmingly painful to my eyes and numbing to my skull. I do remember as a kid being bored while watching CN, but this... is just the epitome of garbage.

1 year ago I couldnt stand the channel all. Recently they have started adding more shows like chowder + flapjack + the secret saturdays that are good..but the channel just isnt the same as it used to be.

But I think nick has become worse in the long run, they pale in comparison to the former glory that used to be nick.

I'm a big fan of Chowder, and I enjoy Flapjack and The Secret Saturdays.

I'm not all that into Ben 10: Alien Force or Star Wars: The Clone Wars, but I sit through them since there's nothing better on at the time; those shows are more or less white noise to me.

I kind of enjoy Batman: The Brave & the Bold, though I have some bones to pick about it; I wish it weren't yet another Batman-centered show, though I do like how Bats is portrayed here, and I wish the show wasn't so much of a sausage fest, but eh, boy-centric action shows are in right now.

I'm not going to say that CN has gone down the tubes and it was sooo much better back in the 90's and all that stuff, since my viewing of it hasn't really changed since I first got it back in 1995; I watch the shows that interest me and ignore the ones that don't. Just like every other channel.

I don't particularly feel like I have outgrown the network either. I think about past shows that I used to watch on the channel and I would still love to watch those same shows, it's no different. Several of them are still retained on Boomerang like The Flintstones and Jonny Quest (unfortunately I do not get Boomerang here, but I did have it before I moved), but the quality of the shows being delivered is not up to the same caliber. Nostalgia isn't inherently a bad thing. I believe many people have been trying to paint nostalgia as being a stoop, but I don't think it's completely in the wrong.

I think about watching Dexter's Laboratory and Powerpuff girls and the like. The writing for those shows was exceptional. Some of the writing for these current shows really borders on drivel. The new direction that CN has taken the network is seeming to point it at a particular demographic rather than the "fun for the whole family" appeal it has enjoyed in the past. I'm not sure this is the correct course, but if CN wants to pursue this, hopefully they will remember some of the rest of the demographics. Just because I am not a child anymore doesn't mean I automatically like the programming they show on Adult Swim. Some of us don't want to watch constant nonsense with just random objects sailing across the screen with no coherent direction.

I wish these companies would watch each other with the directions they take. Sci Fi and CN need to take a hard look at what happened to G4. You change your direction completely, you lose the fan base that was supporting you and if you fail to draw in the new viewers, you are left without either.

I'd say Chowder with TDI second. And I disagree with Master Moron. I actually think that CN is great right now, I can always turn the channel and find something good to watch. I may get killed for saying this on Toon Zone, but I'm actually not a fan of most the old CN shows and I think the channel is better now than it was a while back.

Of course, it's important to see it from our point of view. You're 15. Master Moron is 26, and I'll be 30 in a couple of months. As much as you try to stick with it there usually does come a time when you suddenly discover - for one reason or another - that you've outgrown something you used to enjoy immensely just a few short years ago. Flapjack and Chowder are both cute shows, but they're not enough to keep me tuning in to the channel. And for me the days of action cartoons on kids channels are pretty much over. I liked what I saw of Brave and the Bold, but not enough to make me a regular viewer. I'm just...done with Cartoon Network. And the direction they're going in - the shows they're going to be airing - don't interest me at all.

Still lookin' forward to the EEE movie though.

The only shows I watch on CN with any regularity these days are Flapjack and Clone Wars.

Only both aren't showing new episodes right now and won't have any new eps until June-July and September, respectively.

And why bother watching reruns when Flapjack repeats the same episodes all the time and I could just wait for the uncut 1st season set for Clone Wars?

I enjoy many of the animated programs on Cartoon Network and I am 22; my brother is 27 and he loves “The Marvelous Misadventures Of Flapjack”. It’s fine that you’ve changed your perspective, but it’s not like a switch was suddenly flipped on your birthday. As people begin to watch more and more things, they are exposed to new ideas. It’s those new ideas that change what we like and dislike; to look back upon what we once thought were “cool” and decide that they are no longer such. That can occur at any age.

Well I'm 16 and despite I still feel as though saying that I outgrew it is not quite the case. While I'm definitely sure that my interests have differed over the years, I remember when I was 7 I watched Dragonball Z and now I think it's just ridiculous and a waste of time. But I've looked back at some shows from when I was a kid and Disney movies and I still love them.

Perhaps it's because of how despite the way I act older than I am, I happen to hold onto my childhood dearly... possibly due to a teensy bit of Peter Pan syndrome, but who knows? And ironically with the nostalgia comes the stuff I clearly remember hating and never appreciated until I was older.

But I suppose that both views are right in a way. I think both the channel and we grew up and drifted apart.
