I have some info from Dwayne McDuffie, he has said after season 2, there are 20 epsiodes left of AF before the new series Evolutions.
Remember a tv movie like SotO counts as 3 whole episodes, if they do a tv movie, which they likely will, it is really 17 episodes and 1 tv movie, and that is not consider some of the 17 episodes might be multy part episodes.
Also Dwyane has said the new main villains will NOT be the Forever Knights.
Hmm, I could definitely see CN setting up Evolutions with a TV movie.

there are 20 epsiodes left of AF before the new series Evolutions. That's good. Cartoon Network could easily spread that all out throughout the rest of the year.

There will be new main villains eh? Now I'm really curious. Another TV movie? Guess they'd need to show us how Ben's idenity gets revealed whether in season three or a TV movie as you suggested. I wonder if these new main villains will continue into Evolutions.

I'm guessing it'll be split into two seasons again (10 episodes=Season 3, and the other 10=Season 4). Can't wait to see them (and I still wanna see my promised Hex and Charmcaster, dammit! :p )

You are jumping to conclusion. He wouldn't say, just that they wouldn't be the Forever Knights.

Nah, not if CN wants to air Evolutions for the 2010-2011 season.
I predict they will do something similar to what you're suggesting, but that they'll air ten episodes during September-December and the other ten during January-May.

But isn't Ben 10 Generation supposed to come early 2010? So that couldn't work if they did that.

There is no Ben 10: Generations. That was the original title of Alien Force when the premese was Ben and Gwen teaching some plumber class or Omnitrix class, or something like that.
The new show coming in 2010 (they could change the title) is Ben 10: Evolutions.

You can obviously see a bit of that idea leftover in the final product.

That's good to know. A movie might be a good move to make to jump from Alien Force to Evolution. I'm glad that the new main villains will not be the Forever Knights. I know that they were different in the original series, but even with how they were then, I wouldn't see them working well as main villains. I think that they work well as side villains, but I think that they would also need more intense villains than them.
