This is the talkback thread for Volume 1 of "The Secret Saturdays" Coming to DVD (http://news.toonzone.net/articles/29117/volume-1-of-the-secret-saturdays-coming-to-dvd).
Good news for Secret Saturday fans. Too bad its not season sets, but well, this format is typical for kids shows.

Well this is good, now they need flapjack volumes.

I think both shows are on I-Tunes so if you have the dough, that's where you have to go.
I wished that CN could revert back to doing season sets but after the failures that were The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy: Season 1, Ed, Edd, Eddy: Seasons 1 and 2, and The Powerpuff Girls: Complete Series, we may just see volumes of all of the new CN originals making DVD selves crowded and making the hardocre fans wait longer for the inevitable season box set.

I don't know whether I should buy this or not. The better choice would probably be iTunes, but the possible extras...

That can happen this year, maybe as early as summer.

What about Ben 10 and Samurai Jack? Surely they did well enough to have all four of their seasons compiled in complete sets.

It's apparently going to have a bunch of bonus features, like early development artwork and animatics. I do have to question the Owlman being on the cover, since he doesn't appear until episode 9 (or episode 8, if you count "The Kur Stone" as one episode).

CN plays The Secret Saturdays so much in repeats throughout the week now that I feel I have seen this season in full about 30 times over. I will buy it anyway to add it to my collection of cartoon box sets, but I am more looking foward to the second season and beyond for the Saturday's, I feel there is a lot more good stories to come. I wonder if it would be smarter for CN to put season 2 on their satAM block to add to the premiers or if they should keep it on You Are Here to help keep that block strong?

I'll wait for the season set, as always with these new CN dvds...
Have there been any news of a season set for any of the new shows?
