How strong is the relationship between Teletoon and Cartoon Network?

Edit: mods I made a typo in my thread line, please correct it. Thanks.

Not another one of these threads...

They don't have any special relationship. CN just picked up TDI, and after seeing it as a success, picked up TDA and 6Teen as well. Nothing more than that.

Uh, I think that Teletoon has an exclusive contract with CN to air there shows in Canada. Like the YTV - Nick contract. (Mighty B came to teletoon becasue both of them are owned by corus entertainment and YTV didn't want it)

Teletoon is often described as being "The Cartoon Network of Canada" because they both air some of the same programs. That's about as deep as their "relationship" goes.

...Mighty B airs on YTV... You must be referring to Kappa Mikey.

They also call it that because there is no Cartoon Network in Canada.

Teletoon and Cartoon Network are the animation networks of their respective countries: The US has Cartoon Network and Canada has Teletoon. And they occasionally import and acquire shows from one another.

Aside from that, there's no relationship or connection.

well what about Geroge of the Jungle (2007) and Chop Socky Chooks? they're CN/TELETOON Production according to end credits.

Cartoon Network has done a couple co-pros with Teletoon, and a good deal of Cartoon Network shows do air on Teletoon, and the vice versa situation is becoming more and more apparent. I wouldn't call it a "relationship" persay, but they're working together, which means they're probably on better terms with Teletoon than they are with WB (Save Brave and the Bold), which they actually do have a relationship to. Go figure.
