EE&E fixed character cast

I asked this somewhere else but still: Anyone knows why EE&E has a fixed character cast? It is a jab against shows that adds characters all the time? It is some kind of personal challenge? It is for keep people wondering when a new character will appear?

Most likely a personal challenge and a test. A test to see how many ideas you can come up with with the same amount of characters.

My guess is that it's just a personal choice of Danny Antonucci and his staff. It's not like he or any other animation producer is required to add additional characters to his/her show.

Maybe they just didn't want to add more. No harm in that.
