I recently saw a commercial playing in Wal-Mart for that 3D movie of Dragon Hunters. I'd heard about it before, but I didn't know it would have an English version already. Anyway, the animation looks pretty well done, and the they matched the animation to the voices, but they use a different voice cast; most notably Rob Paulson as Guizdo and some big-name actor as the other guy.
Anyway, has anyone seen it or care to see it? How does it compare with the original show?

There is a Dragon Hunters movie? I might check it out. Dragon Hunters was a weird show to me. I would only like it for about one episode and then didn't like it anymore.

I was fortunate enough to see the film at what I'm pretty sure was its American premiere at the Sarasota Flim Festival just about a year ago. It's a spectacular film with a bit a of different take on the hunters' situation than the television series. It's the film that makes me laugh whenever anyone lauds Kung Fu Panda's action sequences (i.e. "the best ever"). It was submitted as an Oscar nominee but was passed over, presumably becasue there was no American flim distributor, thus no wide release. If it's coming to DVD, that's great; I recommend it highly....
BTW, co-starring Rob Paulsen as Guizdo is Forest Whitaker as Lian Chu...

I actually saw the DVD for this in Wal-Mart nearly 6 weeks ago. I wasn't interested in spending $20 for it despite enjoying the series, especially since I don't have the rest of the series on DVD.
