It's official, The Secret Saturdays has been picked up for another 10 episodes (aka, Season Three). Meaning another season after the Kur Stone arc. Good news for TSS fans, I'm sure. And on a side note: behold the Tibetan Fire Sword!

I don't think anyone was really suprised that TSS was renewed. I do find it weird that Season 3 will be 10 episodes long. I think S3 will be more plot-intensive, with less filler episodes.

Hmm. I don't see that at all, aside form the fact that there's 3 of them, the Saturdays are nothing like the Galaxy Trio. The former were a team of superpowered alien adults in outer space, and the latter are a nuclear family who hunt crytpids on present day Earth. If anything, the Saturdays are more like Jonny Quest's family, except that there's a mom and no Hadji (unless one counts Fiskerton, who's the most human-like of all the cryptids, so much so that the family regards him more like a second child than a pet. Come to think of it, Fisk, Komodo and Zon are kind of like the Herculoids in a way, so I guess there is some Hanna-Barbera synergy there after all.)

This is fantastic news for The Saturdays and it's fans!!!! Way to go CN on hooking us up with amazing action programming that glues us to the TV. Now if only we can get a set of action figures and a video game then TSS will really have a shelf presence and can build a nice fanbase, great start though!!

Well there's something to go with my Kim Possible Plushie Rufus, a Big loveable Plushie Fiskerton. (Can you imagine a 5 inch long hairless rodent getting along with a 7 foot tall Gorilla cat?). Okay, You sold me!

As for all the Merchandise, it would be surprising if they see it doing so well they give it a 4th season.. and a 5th.. After all besides the Cryptids we've seen so far, there are probably at least 250 documented cases of cryptids we haven't seen, plus those that are undocumented. (For example the Al'kazeem Firecracker Beetle). But heck The Secret Saturdays could be the Pokemon Killer.. After all, you gotta document them all!

I wonder if it will all happen that quick though, unless they have been planning this behind the scenes for quite some time I dont see anything in the form of TSS merchendise for a while. I for one am just so happy about the second season that everything else is just kind of backseat for the time being, though I would like a figure set and maybe a comic book series.

As in something you can wield like Drew Saturday. (I can see it now this halloween. Some parent asks their 6-11 year old girl what they want to dress up as..And yep.. I can see the kids with Tibetan Fire Swords out in force.

Of course I hope when they do the Secret Saturdays Video game they definitely make a PS2 Version..(After all I'm still wanting to get my Ben 10 Alien Force game and maybe the DVD's (Both Volume 1 and 2)
