Missed it, sorry.

But I did remember seeing some screenshots for the episode, and the pretty cool thing about the episode is that...remember the Tag-Team Battle episodes? Dawn's partner (I forgot his name) reappears.

At least PUSA gave Angie a "Tom-boy" voice. Not nearly as gender confusing and wonderful like her original japanese voice, but still fits her character.

Watching this episode dubbed was just as highly entertaining as watching its original raw.

I wonder how the pokeshippers will react to Angie and Ash's developing romantic relationship. It should be very interesting.

EDIT: Mesousa, his name is Conway and if you love him, next week's episode is surely not to be missed.

This episode was awesome, there were so many funny moments. Definitely one of my fav.

Angie would make a great recurring rival for Ash but to bad shes working at the Daycare. Conway would also make a great recurring rival for Dawn.

Well there was no real romantic connection in this episode. Its the last two episodes of the summer school arc where you see the blushing and all.

Not to forget, Angie's *cough*returning appearance in a later episode*cough* is a solid certification that she holds affection for Ash.

* L-o-L at Dawn's Haruhi-esque posing. Seriously, if nobody's synched that scene with Hare Hare Yukai by now I'd be surprised.

* For some reason, I thought that Angie was on the blue team but I must've heard wrong.

* Overall, I liked it.

Can anyone make a GIF of that?

I thought that this was a fun and cute episode. So Ash and his friends are at a Pokemon summer academy. Nice little twist in their journey. I didn't like Angie at first, but I think she grew on me as the episode continued. In retrospect, she kind of sounded like Zoey to me.

Ash got a Raichu as his Pokemon school partner? That was surprising. That's the only way Ash would ever battle with a Raichu so that was kind of cool to see. I was surprised that Brock got a Magamite. I figured that he would get something closer to a Rock or Ground type, but it was still cool. Dawn got a Grimer, the exact opposite kind of Pokemon that she has for her cute team. Jessie getting a Smoochum fits pretty well with her personality. Angie getting the Monferno was a nice little twist. I swear that I thought it saw Infernape when it first came out of the ball, but I could be wrong.

It seems that Ash also got the exact opposite of his Pikachu with that Raichu and Angie got that impish little Monferno. I know that Ash and Angie were getting really argumentive and being distracting, but I thought that Prof. Rowan and the other teachers there were being really harsh with their punishments, especially for subtracting points from their team later on. Despite Grimer being the opposite of her Pokemon, Dawn did do a nice job with making it pose and look as cute as possible.

Of course, how could I forget the creepy return of Conway. His voice matches his creepy behavior quite well I might add. I laughed so hard when he came into their room later that night and said he would be happy to be Dawn's partner. So creepy in so many ways. I was impressed with the moves both Monferno and Raichu had, as well as Ash and Angie's training for them.

I was surprised that Brock won against Jessie. I know that she loved to hug Smoochum like that, but I thought that she would put up more of a fight. It was cool to see Dawn battle with Conway, but I felt like the match went a bit too fast and it wasn't completely clear who won the match either. But I guess that it was Dawn based on the scene where people were surrounding her. I also thought that the battle between Ash and Angie was really good. It was going so intensely and then the time ran out. I was hoping for Ash to win, but I was okay with a tie. Too bad that James and Mewoth didn't do so much during this episode, but hopefully that will change during the rest of this summer school arc.

I didn't expect Dawn to win the prize for bonding with her Pokemon the most. I figured that Ash or Angie would win it, based on how they were shown the most during the training portion of the day. It was interesting how the Red team was in dead last, after all that work, and Conway's team was in first place. I hope that we see more of Conway after this arc too.

Overall, it was a happy and fun episode. It was nice to see the characters with Pokemon pretty much the opposite of what they usually have and then eventually having that match work out for them. I'm so looking foreword to next week's episode.

It was so weird to watch them at school. But I loved it, something we haven't seen before, the gang at school for a exdented.

You think Angie has a crush on Ash, it seems every tom boy we meet as a thing for Ash. But that is not really important.

I am glad that Team Rocket are actully enjoying themselfs without trying to con anyone or steal anything. Jessilena is actully freindly with her competitors, normally she tries to bring down her opponents self esteem.

But Conrad is still a weird guy.

Anyway look forward to the next episode.

I liked this episode. Seeing everybody act with different Pokemon was interesting, as well as the angry Monferno. It seems that all piles of sludge act like each other... Grimer was all over Dawn!

Seeing Conway again was pretty sweet.

Ash and I had the same reaction to Angie. "YOU'RE A GIRL?!  "

Yet Ash would be so dumb to not know about Angie having a crush on him just like the other girls that fell for him over the years.

Seeing the gang use rental Pokemon is something this show should have done a lot more of.

Its always nice to see them use Pokemon they don't own, Ash using a Raichu was probably the writers way of showing what it might have been like if Pikachu had evolved all those years ago.

So they're learning from 4Kids' Dinosaur King dub...

Is it just me, or has Ash been encountering Raichu one way or another?

I mean, he battled against Raichu, befriended Raichu, and recently used a Raichu!

Maybe Japan has finally seen the light. Maybe Pikachu WILL evolve.

"rolls dice" Baby needs a new trademark Pokemon.

Pikachu has already stated (back in Kanto) that it didn't want to evolve, though.

What is it that calling Pokemon an "it" seems insulting?

(coughs) Actually, Pikachu stated that many times throughout the series.

You have a better chance of Chimchar evolving at this rate.

Or Piplup.

I'm more worry about Chimchar than Piplup really. Chimchar is more of a fighter and should evolve before going to Sinnoh League.

If evolution comes to play, I say that the Pokemon I would like to evolve, if I was in the serries of course would be in this order:

1. Chimchar

2. Piplup

3. Croagunk

4. Happiny

5. Pikachu (A guy can dream and Japan can change its mind right?)

6. TR's Meowth (if possible) Imagine the first ever talking, walking on two legs, New York accented Persian.

oh man i hope meowth never evolves. that'd just be weird:sweat::sweat:

chimchar really does need to evolve one of these days though

Well, this episode sure takes a little tangent. I never really could imanage Ash in school, but after thinking about it, he kind of did what I expected him to do. He's just the hot hed troublemaker I thought he would be. But how ironic was it that he got a Riachu? WOW! I know everyone wants to see Ash have a Riachu, well, he you go. Yeah, maybe not the way we expected, but it doesn't really matter.

I thought Ash's rival was quite interesting. Pretty much the same attitiude, but notheless interesting.

Conway was a big suprise. But I thought is was most intreguing that he said he would be Dawn partner... and he kind of said it as if he kind of likes Dawn.

Jessie got Smoochom... how perfect.

Dawn got Grimer.. interesting. But She mananged to make great friends with it, and she even got it to shine despite not being the perfect contest pokemon.

All the battles were cool. I enjoyed them all. And intersting twist to the plot.
Ash and I had the same reaction to Angie. "YOU'RE A GIRL?!  "
Remember Anabell? That was the first thing I thought of. But this time, Angie has me fooled, but Anabell didn't.
Maybe Japan has finally seen the light. Maybe Pikachu WILL evolve.

"rolls dice" Baby needs a new trademark Pokemon.
lmao... Pikachu evolving.... ha, you'd have a better chance of CHARIZARD evolving. In other words, it's not going to happen.

No worries. Disscusion is a good thing. But I can consider this a breath of fresh air compaired to the 2 reply talkbacks. Sometimes, those are the episodes that make we wonder if I should go back to monthly talkbacks.

I'm more worry about Chimchar than Piplup really. Chimchar is more of a fighter and should evolve before going to Sinnoh League.

Actually, I've heard a lot of people around some Pokemon forums really believing that Chimchar will evolve soon. That would be great but as long as there's a six-on-six match in the Sinnoh League against Ash and Paul and Chimchar takes Paul down, then I personally wouldn't mind whether it evolves or not. I don't think that Piplup will evolve since it is being treated like the mascot for the Diamond and Pearl series. Though, I would be seriously happy if it did evolve.

Remember Anabell? That was the first thing I thought of. But this time, Angie has me fooled, but Anabell didn't.

I remember Anabell too. She did have me fooled completely in her first appearance. I could tell that Angie was a girl, but I could understand why Ash wouldn't at first.
