OK, when I was watching Bakugan, a back to show bump for DBZ on Toonami appeared. WHAT THE HELL?

I saw this too, my guess it was either a technical difficulty or it was a cut short commercial for Jetstream??? Either way.... Odd...

Technical difficulty. The same thing's happened before.

Maybe they're messing with people's heads. :p

I find that hilarious. I would be suprised if there was someone out there that was looking for something to watch, saw that, and stayed there expecting DBZ. :p

They probably haven't deleted the Toonami files from their servers yet. It happens.

Maybe Toonami's returning... That would be awesome!

Not really. Ever since the end of Toonami, CN has been removing all traces of the block from their website.

I strongly doubt that. Why would they ever bring back a block that clearly wasn't making money for the network anymore?

Do you even really want that?

Mugsy

Ugh, I hope this does not spark a "Could Toonami be returning" craze. I liked it, but it's over, this was nothing more than a technical error. Moving along now...

What if it became a sunday morning block? Since the saturday night block wasn't getting ratings they could move it to sunday mornings...

That's what i would do...:anime:

Guys, mistakes happen. Toonami isn't coming back. Let not get out of control here.

Nope... no blocks here... there are specials sometimes but don«t show new episodes... only marathons...

On new year's day there's a ben 10 marathon... sick of ben 10 already... it's on more than 3 times a day

The original Ben 10 isn't overloaded here in the states as of right now, I think they usualy air it once a day at best, some days not at all....

Guys, I don't think anyone here expects this to lead to anything, there's one early post and a dozen others jumping on it. I'm no doubt the most fanatical fan and I know that toonami isn't coming back anytime soon.

The funny thing about this is that it actually happened before back in September (http://toonzone.net/forums/showpost.php?p=2985342&postcount=6559).

Yeah, Cheddar mentioned that, but I'm proving it.

I saw it this morning too and I found it hilarious. I thought that some people would actually think it was a sign that they would bring Toonami back, despite the fact that it wasn't making much money for CN anymore. It was clearly a technical problem, but it still was funny to see.

Bakugan is pretty cool some weeks, other week...not so much. It's a nice addition to DAS though....

This was also weird... one time when I watched an airing of Olive back in 2004, they showed one of CN's old powerhouse up next bumpers, before the break started, and when the break ended.

Why do I get the feeling it was just a ploy to get more people to watch Bakugan?

"Hey people, if you watch Bakugan, we'll throw in nostalgia!"

I'd watch it for that. Okay, maybe not watch it, just tape it and watch the nostalgia. :P

It's not exactly "nostalgia" if the block just ended recently.

Toonami just ended a few months ago, once it has reached at least 3 years then it's nostalgia.....IMO, but if it's nostalgic to you then all the power to you....

My guess would be 2006/2007, but don't quote me...

It wasn't a promo. It was just a DBZ return bumper from earlier this year.

It was from the TOM 4 era.

I knew it was fairly recent, and IMO is not old enough to spark real nostalgia....

Jayngfet

It's more nostalgia by association. DBZ was on years upon years ago, and toonami premiered nearly twelve years ago. That exact bumper is associated with both so it gets a pass.

This reminds me of something that happend around the time Johnny Test started airing on CN, It was a Miguzi "Back to Ben 10" Bumper (Of course, this was after Miguzi stopped Airing) Coincedence?
