So what's everyones take on DAS? I actually like it, but I have seen a lot of complaints on this block and I have no idea why....

1. They re-air the entire YAH block which is cool for people who may have missed YAH due to work or plans and for kids who may have had to hit the sheets early because of their age or parents.

2. They air fun shows such as Transformers Animated and Bakugan (both of which I kinda like)

3. It's the best lineup in Saturday morning cartoons IMO.

I don't know, maybe I just love CN way too much but what do you guys think??

:)

I love bumps but they don't make up my mind on a block. The better the bump though the more fun it does add I suppose.....

Shows are okay. Hate the block itself. Anyone with the slightest knowledge of chroma keying and a halfway creative mind could make a better block.

It's a pretty fun block. I just watch it for Pokemon and sometimes Bakugan, which really isn't that bad itself. I don't mind that they repeat YAH since that does give people who missed the block to easily get caught up. The bumps could use some improvement. I wonder why they haven't really created Nods for the block yet.

That would be a good idea, Noods for DAS!!!

Bumpers suck, kids are annoying, but the shows itself are really good.

Bumpers + Noods + Great shows - Annoying kids = Awesome block

The bumpers get kinda of annoying.

I really dislike the current bumbers for DAS, but then again, so does mostly everyone else. Take away the obnoxious kids, put in some of the new noods, and I think DAS would become 4 times better.

I've never noticed but does DAS have an opening intro bumpy thingy and a closer as well?

DAS has a quick intro summarizing the heroes and villains of the DAS bumps. I don't remember the outro.

The kids walk into the sunset and the taller ones high five.

Since Saturday morning cartoons should have silly bumps IMO I can forgive DAS and appreciate it for what it is.....a great block of cartoons that entertain me. I hope it stays around for a long time to come :)

It's an okay block, but it was way better back in April 2008. Blue Dragon, Pokemon, Ben 10: AF, Transformers: Animated, Bakugan and Robotboy. Three hours of all new shows.

Now it's more or less a rerun block, so it doesn't feel as special anymore.

I did see a DAS bump featuring the DAS van jumping over a small nood, last week it jumped over a giant Nood.

Wait, they're saving the DAS with noods? Why does the most hated block in CN history, also pre 2008, get this second chance toonami didn't? Why does an originally live action block from the most hated era in the networks history get a reboot?

Maybe DAS will be getting more and more Noods as time goes by? Or maybe they will get their own Nood lime YAH and Action Flicks, equipped with a headset and walkie talkie!!

That's definitely true. While I see some good in repeating the shows from YAH so soon for people who missed it, that doesn't really beat three hours of all new episodes. Plus, like yoshirider13 said, it did have a nice balance of different kinds of shows on its lineup.

No one mentioned a reboot. Some people, like myself, were saying how the block could be better, or at least be less annoying, if they replaced the bumpers with the kids with Nods instead. I'm also not sure if the block was hated that much. Sure, the kids could be seen as annoying, but I just thought that they were hyper because they were paid to do that. Even with the live-action bumpers, it was still a cartoon block and it did have a nice lineup in the past, in my opinion.
