I have an old childhood friend who lives in Los Angelas, home of the Lakers and he was watching a pregame special for the Lakers/Grizzlies game from the other night and they asked Kobe Bryant (one of the best players in the NBA) what kind of tv he watches in a sit down personal conversation setting and he mentioned he watches a lot of Cartoon Network with his kid/kids and he likes a lot of the shows that CN airs because it helps to keep him young inside. He also mentioned he speaks 8 fluent languages and he likes movies and video games. Kinda cool....

Interesting. I wonder if they'll ever have one of those NBA nights again...

Who knows, but it's cool whenever you read about an athelete or celebrity who is into something you are. Another example is Curt Shilling who is a pitcher for the Red Sox said he often plays An online role playing game, I forget which one, Everquest maybe? And when AJ Pierzynski of the White Sox said he loved TNA pro wrestling, stuff like that is cool...

I didn't know that an famous adult, specially a basket ball player watched Cartoon Network, maybe that explains why Cartoon Network created adult swim, but to be sincere, adult Swim was taken off the Cartoon Network Mexico programing, but I don't know why:confused:

I'm sure lots of celebrity's have watched or watch CN, if not by themselves than with their kids. It's almost unavoidable, if you have cable or satellite then you have CN...

I'm not really surprised. I went to spend the summer in Mexico last year, and the scheduling for Adult Swim was horrible. The block didn't start until 12 or 1 am. Having to stay up to 2:45 am just to watch a single episode of Harvey Birdman? No wonder it failed in there.

I'm sure Kobe Bryant doesn't go home and say "Oh boy Chowder's on!". What he probably means is that when he's sitting in his living room relaxing and his kids have CN on, he'll be watching it with them and will enjoy himself.

I'd say Kobe has been my favorite since 1999 when I saw something special in him. I have a few other favorite too but he has been my top since about the end of the 90's. Lakeshow beat the C's today.....

Lakeshow beat the C's today.....I watched most of the game. I was at my cousin's house so I watched till halftime. Then I had to drive 2 hours back to my house so I missed the 2nd half.

...OR you could just not watch [adult swim], simple as that. A block doesn't need to go away just because you don't like it.

Anyway, this isn't the [adult swim] folder, so let's try to stay on-topic.

First of all, there are adults that watch by themselves CN regular programing instead of adult swim and that doesn't mean they are "out of sense", they are not "sick" or something, everyone have it's likings. but What keeps me in suspense is ¿why in México AS was removed? (but it still airs in Argentina, Venezuela or other latin countries) what a mistery for me!!

Um...all he said that Adult Swim is doing too well in the ratings for the block to be removed. The fact we're all here on the Cartoon Network forum indicates that we don't think watching CN shows any lack of sense. From what I can tell, no one implied anything of the sort, so I don't why you said that.

I didn't mean it.
