How do people get high scores in "Worst Game Ever"? I played that on the old Aqua Teen movie website and got bored after a few minutes.

Go Robot Chicken.
How do people get high scores in "Worst Game Ever"? I played that on the old Aqua Teen movie website and got bored after a few minutes. Here are my responses (got confused over how to respond ):
1) This version of WGE now has a scoring system, along with a new video at the end. I highlighted this in an earlier AE thread.
2) One way is to continue right and then hit the keyboard key that takes you back to the beginning. Sure, you have to repeat the annoying process, but your score doesn't reset.
3) I still haven't played WGE v.2.0 all the way through to get the new video. I remember that if you win in the original, you get the end credits to the Aqua Teen movie.

Well, unfortunately, with Geass going into reruns it won't be possible for it to build an audience now.
I think it's safe to call Moribito a flop. Meanwhile, someone get Bleach on Sundays, or another network...

At the risk of bringing a little too much Christmas cheer...
‘Twas the weekend before Christmas, and all through the forum,
Many creatures were typing, one to ease his own boredom.
I am animePWNS, and I am typing again today
To pick some more favorite lines from Adult Swim anime.
Instead of roasting chestnuts on a warm open fire,
I’m watching Ichigo and friends fight some pesky vampires.
Code Geass has cool lines, some dramatic, some funny;
Let me pause while we think of Kallen dressed as a bunny…:anime:
FLCL is gone, but returning in its place
Is a short-statured alchemist—don’t say that to his face!
There’s a killer with a notebook who thinks he’s so hip
‘Cause he’s killing off criminals while EATING potato chips.
Cowboy Bebop keeps bringing the sci-fi and jazz,
Plus a cool green-haired dude who kicks major ass.
Speaking of which, even Motoko’s here,
Sending many a terrorist running in fear.:)
Picking lines from Inu, Moro and Shin was hard to do,
So I’ll be skipping them for now to watch Big O Season 2.
I’ve been picking these lines for almost a year,
And I’ll keep it up as long as Adult Swim is still here.
So now let me say, as I remain out of sight:
Merry Christmas to all! Here are the Lines of the Night…
…for anime.
Bleach
Yoshi: From what I heard, Mabashi had no problem making you into his own personal plaything! You certainly are cute, it’s making me excited!
Rukia: Shut up!
Moribito
Repeat of episode 7
Code Geass
(Repeats, but it’s for a short while, so...)
Zero: I hereby declare our independence from Britannia! But don’t take this to mean the resurrection of your fallen nation. We will not turn back the hands of time! The new Japan we go on to build shall be one broad enough to accept all people’s histories and ideologies, where the strong shall not reign over the weak! And it shall be called…
THE UNITED STATES OF JAPAN!
Shin Chan
Reruns
Fullmetal Alchemist
Alphonse: Since I no longer have a mortal shell, I can’t feel the terror you felt, thinking you were going to die. I’m sure it must’ve been painful and lonely. I want my body back, brother. I want to be able to feel as you felt, to feel human again. If we find the philosopher’s stone, I can have that. And we can repair what we’ve broken.
Edward: When I was certain that he was gonna kill me, my mind went blank and I didn’t have any hope anymore. And the only thing I could do was scream my lungs out. I felt so helpless, I couldn’t even bring myself to believe someone might save me. Then you showed up, Al. And I realized if we don’t take care of each other, no one else will. So I’ll do anything in my power to get our bodies back, even if it means being the military’s lapdog. And we’ll just have to hope our powers are good enough to help us rise above our own limits. ‘Cause we’re not gods, we’re humans. Tiny, insignificant humans who couldn’t even save a little girl.
Death Note
Naomi: Uh, so if you don’t mind my asking, why do you keep checking your watch?
Light: Oh, well, I guess it’s because…because I’m Kira!
Naomi:  ?! *40 second mark* ………………….
Light: What’s the matter?
Naomi: There’s something I have to do.
Light: My father’s cell phone might be available now. Do you want to see if you can talk to him?
Naomi: No, thank you, I have nothing to say to him.
Light: Then good bye, Naomi Misora.
:crying: :crying: :crying: :crying:
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex
Red-suited female: *makes gun motion at the Major* Bang!
Cowboy Bebop
Decker?: Whaddaya want, babe, ya lookin’ for some action?
Faye: Well, you might say that, a certain kind of action…
(Wrong holiday for a Valentine, but I ain't complainin'.:D )
Big O
Angel: You said that we were two of a kind, didn’t you?
Roger: That’s right, I did. We had both decided that we would choose our own destiny.
Angel: Are we fighting on the same side?
Roger: Theoretically, each of us has to fight alone. But I think, from time to time, we…
Angel: Do you think our relationship is going to change?
Roger: It already has.
Angel: Why are you holding back?
Roger: I’m not holding back, Angel.
Angel: Then, why are you…*laughs* This is hilarious, Roger Smith! You aren’t…you can’t be…don’t tell me, you and that perpetually foul-tempered android—
Roger: Enough! Stop these preposterous insinuations!
Angel: It’s preposterous, all right!

I've been quiet for a long time but seriously leave Moribito alone. It's been getting over 300k some weeks that's not a flop for AS Saturday nights.

I don't think Adult Swim is satisfied unless a show gets over 400,000 viewers.

That may be the case but considering how many of their crappier comedies can't manage that on a SUNDAY it seems like they've been setting their standards a bit lower lately.

No, it's been hovering squarely around the 250,000 range for the most part. It's not that attractive a show to AS viewers.
On another topic, AS airing the Russian bride episode and not Cybernetic Ghost of Christmas Past saddens. I know the former is a more holiday themed ep, but the latter is just funnier.

It's also technically in reruns and part of Moribito's audience may have chosen to DVR the first ten episodes and don't want to rewatch them.

AS has aired the "Cybenetic Ghost of Christmas Past" a couple times already. I know the last airing was this past Friday.

I know there were a couple of weeks that were very low, but the only show that seemed to go below 400,000 on a regular basis was Clerks, wasn't it?
Edit: Actually, after looking up the ratings, I think you're right. There were clearly some ratings killers on Sunday like Assy and Tim and Eric. When those shows came on the ratings took a nosedive for the night and never recovered. Often the ratings were well below 400,000 for the second half of the Sunday block. But, of course, Adult Swim did remove those shows from the schedule. So, it's not like they were happy with their ratings or anything.
The Only Thing New To The Website This Week (other than adding new episodes of the [as] regulars):
New IVC: Robot Chicken, "I'm Trapped" (http://www.adultswim.com/shows/robotchicken/extras/ivc/ep62/index.html) I have a feeling they may be doing IVCs for all of this season's Robot Chicken. Which isn't a bad thing.
For this week's list, they repackaged last year's Best [as] Christmas moments. (http://www.adultswim.com/americaloveslists/as_christmas/index.html) It's the same list from last year.
Some quick Lucy, DOTD news: Season 2 has a high possibility of being made, and according to Loren Bouchard, the show will be extended to 30 minutes if it does.

Would it be completely idiotic for Adult Swim to renew Lucy? Yes. Will that stop Adult Swim from renewing it? Probably not.

THAT show will get a new season with 30 MINUTE EPISODES while Metalocalypse gets stuck with just 15 minutes???
Brutal.

Adult Swim. Where originals must be "absurdist" and "dada" and the actual funny is usually left to acquisitions.
To be fair, Metalocolaypse is funny as is, and I don't want them to mess with sucess. But Lucy was a faliure, so why invest more in an unsucessful, oh, Tim and Eric. Nevermind.

I watched all of Lucy and I really wanted to like it (mocking religion... h. jon benjamin... home movies VAs... what could go wrong?) but it just wasn't very funny. The writing was bland, the story was bland, the humour (when there, which in itself is rare) was bland, and the main character was unlikable (and thankfully not even in a few episodes)... It just wasn't a very good show. If it gets renewed, I might watch to see if they finally get it right but I really doubt it.
I personally saw some potential in the series, and I think some of that was squandered because Loren had to squish so much stuff into 15-minutes, resulting in rushed endings and missed opportunities.
Metalocalypse worked much better for 30-minutes (Each episode could easily be extended into a half-hour timeframe), so here's hoping that Lucy will work better in that format, too.

The pilot for Lucy was actually pretty good, but the show itself was really bland, IMO. I don't think it has too many fans here at Toon Zone.

The pilot was great. It was funny, the characters and premise were interesting, and it bashed Tom Goes to The Mayor. But the actual series left a lot to be desired.
