I wasen't a huge fan of loony tunes. And I HATE loony tunes from the 21st century. (like Baby loony tunes.)
Though today I bought the "Loony tunes- Golden collection volume 1" I saw that the dvd wasen't from today. It was from before (Like 1950's) and its remastered. I saw that it was also uncut and had around 54 episodes or something like that.
1. Did I make the right choice?
2. Is the episodes more violent and funny then the loony tunes from today?
3. Does "Lost episodes" mean "Banned episodes?"

2. Is the episodes more violent and funny then the loony tunes from today?A crap-load more funny than the babyfication and live-action/animation hybrids.

1. Did I make the right choice?
I'd say so. To me, volume 1 is the strongest release of them all, and the best collection for beginners. You'll get a mostly-solid setlist, and basically every character gets at least 1 short in the collection.
2. Is the episodes more violent and funny then the loony tunes from today?
If you have to ask...
But seriously, if you're asking for something better than Space Jam, you don't have to look far at all.
3. Does "Lost episodes" mean "Banned episodes?"
Not so sure on that, but I'd say pretty much.

Well I like the looney tunes but am not a huge fan. I have Looney Tunes Spotlight Collection Volume 2 but thats all. You made the right choice though if you like looney tunes alot. If you dont like it alot, I believe its best to buy the Spotlight collections

its zillion times better than some crappy baby looney toons...it has a spirit
same goes for eg. with scooby doo.. whats new scooby doo is just crappy..compared to the 70s original
or transformers animated compared to the 80s g1...again, the older ones are better

3. Does "Lost episodes" mean "Banned episodes?"
It does not mean banned, but if you want banned shorts, try LTGC Volume 6. There's a lot of 30's cartoons, but there are around 18 banned cartoons from WWII. (Also on the Popeye Volume 3 Collection).

It depends. You probably made the right choice. Or you could have done what I'm gonna do on Jan 1. and tape all 24 hrs of the marathon airing on CN.
