Winter Break!

Hey guys, today is my first day of Winter Break! I've got it until early January. Who else is out of school and how are you planning on spending your break?

Well unfortunately for me, I have to make up Friday's class on Monday due to the snowstorm here in New York.

That stinks, only two days of break before Christmas Eve? In the past, my break's lasted from 3-4 weeks but unfortunately that has changed.

Assuming we don't get a snow day early next week, my break will be from the 24th to the 4th. I didn't expect to go right up to Christmas Eve, but since it's in the middle of the week, I guess it can't be avoided.

Longer than last year's vacation, at least.

Well I didn't go this week (except for today, which was a half day) because I was in San Francisco... but my break officially started about an hour ago, after I did all my finals.

My winterbreak started early due to a snow day today and from the looks of things, it will continue to snow where I live until Christmas Day. :)

While I am happy about the snowday and the long forecast of snow ahead, I had been planning to give gifts to my friends and some teachers today. Even so, I can just give the ones for my friends when I see them over the break but the teachers...it will have to wait until after, unfortunately.

My break will start at 4:30 today after one last final, and then I don't have to go back to classes until January 12th. It would be January 20th but I deciced to take one class a week before the regular semester starts, just to get it out of the way.

I'll be working during the break and also going to florida for a week. Yay that should be fun. :)

I already been on break for the past week. I don't start again until the 5th.

My last final was yesterday, so break officially started for me. I'm off for about a month, since I move back into my dorm on January 18th, but classes don't start till the 20th, because of Martin Luther King day. This is my first winter break for college, which is much longer than the 1-2 week break I used to always have while in Elementary-High School.

For the last eight years I've pretty much worked up until Christmas Eve and came back Monday. And I usually had to work on Thanksgiving and New Years just to get the right take off Christmas.

But now that I left journalism and got this job as a flack (public relations person) I get more than a week off, paid, starting at the end of the day Tuesday. Should be awesome. I will spend it hanging out with my family, watching television and playing video games.

My last final was on December 12th, so I've been on break a week. I start classes back January 7th.

I'll probably be working a few hours the next couple of weeks as well as working out for softball. Other than that, just enjoying spending time with my family that is coming in for Christmas.

Well, we got an Ice Storm here in Valpo and there's like 3/4 of an inch of ice on the ground. And it's becuase of the ice and the 12 inches of snow back in Wisconsin that I can go home for another day. but I did finsh my last exam this morning.

Now I get a week back home then I've got to come back to Valpo the day after Christmas so I can take a bus down to Florida for the next week. It's for the swim team's training trip. It should be lots of fun. After that, we bus back and classes start for next semester.

I'll give a report when it stops, and when I have stepped outside to clean my car. I just know my bro and I aren't going to work.

I don't have Winter Break since I don't go to school and don't have a job.

However, it will be a break of sorts since I will be putting aside everything else to marathon the anime series that I have collected so far.

I still have two days of school next week for no particular reason. I'm hoping Monday will be a snow day, but if it is, I hope I don't have to go to school on Tuesday. It'd be rather stupid to come to school one day in the week. Some teacher was guessing that there'd be no school on Tuesday if there isn't on Monday because they wouldn't want to turn the boiler on for one day. But apparently the superintendent already decided that there'd be school on Monday and Tuesday no matter what. It's so stupid. We haven't had one snow day.

My Winter break started the 21st. Well, we were going to Florida for a week, but I hurt my knee and needed surgery, so I wasn't allowed to fly, so I'm just hanging out here at home, in LA.
But, next week(my second week of break), we may drive down to our vacation house in Palm Desert(near palm springs). we have one of those places in the country club complexes down there.

My last final was on December 11th, so I've been on winter break ever since then. I don't have to go back until January 5th. For some reason, possibly because my parents and I have been nervous and stressed for almost a week prior to Christmas, my break feels shorter than it did last year. Oh well. All the more reason for me to relax and play my video games before I have to go back to school.
