Ok, the programming jabronies at Da Boom need to be called onto the carpet this time.

This month, Superman is Boomeroyalty, but instead of running some of the Fleischer shorts or the 60's Filmation eps, they're almost exclusively running eps of Justice League Unlimited, as if that wasn't played into the ground already by airing every night at 11 (ET). Two other problems:

1. For some reason, the block is running over by anywhere from 2-5 minutes, delaying the start of the Christmas Party (4-5:30). I don't know if its because they have too many house ads running in the block or something else altogether.

2. Today, they ran the same exact JLU eps (i.e. Kid Stuff) that aired on 12/6, and in the same exact order!

They have all the older stuff in the library, used mostly as filler material during the week when needed, and yet they refuse to use it. IDIOTS!! This is not the way to honor an icon! No Super Friends material's been used, either.

This is the 2nd weekend of 4. I have this sick feeling they'll continue to screw up. This is the way they should've programmed it:

12/6: Fleischer shorts
12/7: Filmation eps
12/13-14: Super Friends eps showcasing Superman
12/20-21: Superman 1988 series (since Disney currently has the 1996 series)
12/27-28: Justice League (Unlimited) eps showcasing Superman

Chronological order. Something Da Boom knows little about.

You act like the execs are sitting on there butts looking for ways to piss off people. They aren't. YOU try scheduling for two channels, looking for things they can air, etc. One network has to take priority over the other. We need separate execs for CN and Boom.

It is somewhat curious that Boomerang isn't airing any of the Fliecher or Filmation Superman shorts, since Turner owns them and has aired them on Boom in the past.

The same thing happened a few months ago with Batman when he was Boomeroyalty. They only aired episodes of The Batman. No Filmation shorts from 1968, no SuperFriends, no B:TAS (since that's on Disney as well), or original JL episodes. Believe me, Boomerang has an entire list of problems other than its Boomeroyalty segments.

It was specified as that version in particular. For Superman, I agree, they should have thrown some variety in there.
