Nope, try again :D He's a big guy a lot bigger and taller and when he would get angry he would just grab Bugs Bunny (i think) by the throat.

I don't remember the title of the short, but the character's name I believe is Steve Brodie. Bugs just drove him bonkers until he jumped off the Brooklyn Bridge.

Steve Brody was an actual character in urban legend who supposedly jumped off the Brooklyn Bridge. As a cartoon he was featured in Bowery Bugs, the sole Bugs Bunny to be directed by Arthur Davis. In Bowery Bugs, it's revealed that the reason Brody jumped off the Bridge is because Bugs drove him crazy as retaliation for his attempting to cut off one of Bugs' feet for luck.

a bushy diry blonde mushtache....jeans and a plade shirt?

Sounds so familiar! Could that be from Lumberjack Rabbit? (But I don't think Bugs has much interaction with Bunyan in that one; it's mostly about the dog).

In the other one with Blacque Jacque Shellacque (where he's trying to rob gold in the Klondikes), I believe he's wearing a plaid shirt. But he's still not blonde, and not as big as the mangler, though I'm trying to remember if he hay have been taller in that one.

Wow, I'm one of the biggest Looney Tunes fans there is and even I'm stumped here. Do you have any information about the cartoon itself? Its title, what happened in it, what era it looked like it came from ('40s, '50s, '60s, etc.), anything like that?

I know he didn't appear in a Bugs cartoon but your not thinking of Nasty Canasta from "Dripalong Daffy" are you?

I know he didn't appear in a Bugs cartoon but your not thinking of Nasty Canasta from "Dripalong Daffy" are you?Canasta was in one Bugs cartoon, "Barbary Coast Bunny" (albeit redesigned), and is the one where Bugs fools him by winning all the money in his casino. I doubt he's referring to Canasta though, as he states the character has a bushy blonde moustache, and Canasta has a black, small moustache with a big beard.

I'm 30 years old....so I'm guessing late 70's mid 80's.
I cant remember the the cartoon in entirety but his mustache covered most of his mouth and only showed a small chin, he didn't speak much. He was big and strong and I think he was very protective of something......thats all i got

I tried drawing it but my scanner isnt working :( have to download the software again, maybe I'll get it up some time during the week :)

Mustache that covers most of his mouth? I guess we can rule out Hassan, then. :(

Was it one of the Hillbilly twins that Bugs made do the Square dance?

The only character I could think of with a mustache covering his mouth is Maverick from Oliy Hare. But he's short (and I think the mustache is grey). Bugs eventually disguises as him to fool the protagonist, which was actually a sort of McKimson version of Yosemite Sam, but with a black mustache.

I looked through some titles, and there's Missisippi Hare, which has Bugs tangle against Col. shuffle, a hot tempered river gambler. I'll bet that's it, and it's not something that was played alot because of the race gags, so most of us probably don't remember it enough to think of it sooner. He might look like that, but the gambler would most likely have on one of those old confererate suits, and not woodsman type clothes like you described.

Seems everyone thinks guys with mustaches were born to be bad.

Initially, I thought it might be Gossamer, but upon re-reading the description, it seems unlikely. Here's a picture, anyways: http://karn.org/~dmgrover/images/gossamer.jpg
