I just finished watching season 1 of Wait Till You father Gets Home and enjoyed it immensely. Very much of its time and very adult...no wonder I didnt like it as a kid!
Any news on series 2 ever being released though?

Yes theres a couple of featurettes about the making of the show and the social climate at the time. Both quite interesting actually. Its only out in R1 currently though.

I'd get it on DVD just to see Ms. Nelson with that tank of hers, running the commies out of town! LOL!

Thanks for the info about the featurettes, they're exactly the kind of stuff I'd expect and want to see

Oh Seargent Whittaker you mean? She's hysterical...so is neighbour Ralph.
The whole show was genius in fact, theres not many shows I've seen that get as many laughs in such short time, every other line theres one!

Am I mistaken or has the second season never been ran on either Cartoon Network or Boomerang? Isn't it because of the celebrity cameos or something?

It did at some point because I have seen the one with Phillis Diller. She is a private detective helping Harry.

I think Cartoon Network ran it back in the 90s and last year when Boomerang had the show, they ran all 48 episodes. For those of you who want the whole series NOW, go to ioffer.com...where some sellers are offering packages including the pilot episode (shown originally only on "Love, American Style" sometime in 1972). But maybe this also means Warner might be getting ready to release the second season on DVD at last...time will tell. Update: Teletoon Retro has added season two of the series into the rotation, though so far, they've skipped three episodes in season two since they started airing them on January 5th, all of which included animated caricatures of celebrity guests (Phyllis Diller and Monty Hall to name two). So I still have never caught the episode called "Don for the Defense" from season two...I have the other 47 on tape. Can anyone help?
